aLive notched eight kills with banshees in game one against Classic, but his economy was shredded by adepts and his army decimated by stalkers and colossi. Game two was more of the same. aLive lost 33 SCV's to adepts and, despite fighting to a standstill the first time, fell as Classic added storm.
INnoVation rolled over ByuL in game one as a lengthy siege on ByuL's natural followed up an early bio/mine push and raven harass. ByuL put up more of a fight in game two, but INnoVation's ceaseless parade push of bio/mine/thor was too much for his ling/bane/muta.
herO's glaives/prism attack left him down a base and without hope in game one against Stats, but he bounced back with a similar push, this time with blink. herO opened stargate in game three, but with his only oracle across the map, he had no answer for Stats' proxied dark shrine.
Dark reached ultralisks in both games against Maru. But, while he dictated the pace in game one, a failed ravager/ling attack put him on the defensive in game two. Constant runbys cut off Maru’s reinforcements, though, and eventually left the Terran with without an army to speak of.
Solar took a lead as his ling flood forced Dear into an empty third glaives attack that Solar repelled with banelings. Dear evened the series with a dark shrine proxied in Solar’s base, but he flubbed his cannon rush in game two, going into mass oracles only to die to mutalisks.
