Rough translation, via Google:
"Hello ~ I have been writing for a long time. On March 16th, I joined the army. It sounds like this is the last time you say hello to Amas 2 gamers. In retrospect, I think there have been a lot of things for six years. I wanted to do better as a gamer and wanted to get better grades. I'm sorry to hear that. I am happy to meet good people, have good experiences, and have good memories while I'm doing my 2nd. Please support me a lot of the 2 gamers who play very hard because the game 2 of the game is very hard. Thank you for those who cheered!"

good player but wasn't able to reach his full potential for a long time sadly

Reverse all-kill of IM. Never forget.

He followed his heart and found out where it would lead him. In the end I think that's worth quite a bit.

Good choice. SC2 isn't going to get much better.

Too bad, best of luck in his continued life.

Awww. So Abrupt. I like it more when they say "This is my last season." So we can cheer them on one last time before they go.

Symbol to me is one of those old names that rings quite a bell. I still remember his roach and nydus games. He never did win a GSL but his play was entertaining at the time. Best of luck to him ~

he hasn't been active since 2016 tournament wise, it's usually abrupt when this is the case, shouldn't be surprising though best of luck to him and hope he uses what he learned in sc to use tactics in the military

Man, what a long career. I'll never forget his finals set against RorO. Total heartbreaker.
Wishing him all the best!

I was there in the studio when he played against Roro. At that time I was quite sad that it was only a ZvZ but with time passing, memories do get a lighter shade.
Best of luck, Symbol, keep figthing.

You can get 'rid' of people in a nazi/communist country. Unfortunately for you, we live in democracy. Everyone is able to express their views.

These announcement retirements are sad because these are people I've completely forgotten about until they announce they're calling it quits. I had to think ... Symbol... Symbol... Then I remembered back in the day TSL, when it still existed, was led by the fearless fruitdealer, and there were many young up and coming zergs on TSL, Symbol being one of them... So sad that it never worked out for him.
