Afreeca players are really on fire lately. Unless herO secures 3+ kills I don't see CJ winning. Weird that they send out herO first
|
That's what I thought too. I guess they have blind faith in herO...
Afreeca has Super and Patience who have been pretty hot recently, I think they can take this match.
|
Good start for Freecs. PvP coinflip is probably their best hope to kill herO.
|
It's understandable they send out herO first. CJ's lineup has basically no depth, they live and die with herO, Afreeca's top guys are pretty much favored against everyone on CJ but herO himself.
Also Silvana you could have shortened the title by calling it "Day 1 starters".

Patience should just allkill to show CJ their rightful place

Afreeca Freecs vs CJ herO

Terrible first picks on both sides

cj is like herO get the all kill or we surrender

It makes sniping even easier for Afreeca...
Meh gg CJ, hope you finally let our name rest

Fewer maps they need to prepare for though.

Nothing worse than map specific snipes though.. Ask Flash, Jaedong, Bisu in BW era. :p

I would have liked to see MC first with a map specific build...

Poor Flash didn't get em all.

CJ is fucked. Freecs is deep enough to have at least 2 guys (including Patience) prepped with herO snipes.

The problem with snipe builds is they don't give the player an opportunity to play the late game if the build fails. herO has a lot of defensive tools in the protoss arsenal to avoid snipes.

Besides, I doubt herO will just sit back and defend every game. It's not what he does.

So patience will send them back in time to 2010, then race switch to terran and spam marauders and pray...seems like a 10/10 strat to me.

Perhaps they figured their other players would do better with specific snipe builds rather than likely starting off with a loss and having to catch up. It's pretty hard to snipe hero.
|
My theory is that CJ has somehow predicted exactly what afreeca is gonna do, and has snipe maps for everything, hero wins the first map then gets sniped, cj snipes the sniper, cj loses, cj snipes etc.. EZ PZ 4-3 win CJ

It's pretty hard to snipe hero. Eh herO gets sniped pretty regularly in all-kill format. Pretty sure he's the best Proleague player without any 3-kills and all-kills.
|
i dont got y CJ always starts with herO. He has to get multiple kills. Now Afreeca can prepare a snipe build on King Sejong (even have a decent shot with patience) - and KKS has a lot of potential for uncommon. you cant give them better odds.
|
yeah why dont start with MC he is pretty tricky and has a huge amount of different possible builds and styles so he is very hard to snipe
