On one hand I'm happy for Losira since MVP --> KT is essentially moving up in the world but knowing KT he'll become a PL practice mule and won't be fielded plus his individual results will dip as a result. I will hold out hope that he'll do well for KT though ^^

Also congrats on finding a nice landing spot Trust

Kinda sad that Losira has decided to go from regular PL performances to a benchwarmer for KT. Would rather have seen him on Jin Air or even staying on MVP than this. Trust has kind of gone up in the world and it'll be interesting to see how he does on KT
Flying on the Jin Air hype plane. Lets go Maru, Rogue, sOs and the handsome CJ herO

If PL 2016 went for a BO7 format (and possibly an archon match) I could see Losira being fielded a lot as he is essentially KT's #2 Zerg.

I wonder if those players really believe that KT will finally change and not field the same four every time, or they are there just to fight for Flash's spot, or just to get into a top team enviroment and get great practice and other kinds of benefits while knowing they won't get that much playtime in PL.

GuMigod, DeParture, Blaze. Definitely not MarineKing. He streamed the other day and went like 10W 70L on Korean GM.

Very happy for KT :D

Good, KT needs at least one other zerg than Life, let's be honest Penguin is a practice partner and that's it. Trust will probably be stuck sadly in the same position as Speed, Believe, and Penguin, another practice partner.

But maybe if we're lucky, we can see Losira get fielded every now and then for Proleague.

Well Believe has never even been seen with the team and according to Silvana PenguiN actually left the team (he wasn't at Flash's goodbye dinner either). I really hope the coaches decide to mix up the lineup more this year though.

Wouldn't surprise me if Penguin went to another team as a practice partner. I believe he was in KT, then went to SKT, then back to KT.

Strong pickups, it's now a good, strong, balanced line-up. Only the Terran side is kinda bad.

You should probably worry about CJ more, tbh. Your favorite team is kinda running out of players at this point.

Technically when the game launched, there was a game on ladder that was the first to conclude and the winner of that was the most accomplished player for some time.

omg Losira! I love him! yayyy!!

I think he and Life can work pretty well in the same team. Hoping for them to produce crazy builds and games.

And Trust is a nice addition too. Now that Zest is the Ace I guess we needed another PvP sniper.

I'm really liking this. Happy!

OP: PenguiN is not on the team anymore I'm 99% sure. And Believe I assumed too I didn't even bother to ask... anyone knows for sure?

Maybe this is my old Losira fanboy talking but I think Losira could push TY for the fourth spot. That would be pretty funny considering KT used to be only T and P and they could go to only Z and P in their starting lineup.

More likely though is a rotating fourth of TY, Trust, Losira, and Jjakji with TY still getting the lion's share of starts

As long as PL is a Bo5 then CJ shouldn't really mind losing some players haha. If they can field herO, Bbyong, Byul, and literally any player on the planet as their fourth they will still do pretty well tbh

plus Hush is a pretty good PvP sniper and I've always thought Ragnarok had some potential. CJ should be just fine

Wooooo! Come on guys, Losira is defs getting fielded. Having two power zergs on your lineup (especially with different styles) is huge.
why?

People always seem to forget that Stats was as good as if not better than Zest this past year in PL. Sure Zest finished with more wins but Stats was solid while Zest slumped. I think they would be foolish not to give him a starting spot each and every week.

Life or TY I could see being rotated, especially if they have important individual league matches upcoming

Stats won 2 games after Round 4 started and lost all others he played, including the ace match against Jin Air. And they're playing a different game. Just because he did well overall last season doesn't automatically mean he should play every week next season.

More likely though is a rotating fourth of TY, Trust, Losira, and Jjakji with TY still getting the lion's share of starts

More likely is Zest playing every week and one of Life, Stats and TY being rotated out once per round

Aye but Zest should? You can apply this logic to your own conclusions as well

Zest is Zest, he's gonna be fielded every week regardless. Especially now that Flash is gone. He's the (pretty) face of KT. My first post was KT coach logic

In the past (before they got Life) KT coach logic was to play their four best players (most) every week and to hell with anything else. If that continues I think we'll mostly just be seeing Life/Zest/Stats/TY :D

Cool, new practice partners that will get extremely little play time.

I was expecting a big recruitment to spend all that money Flash must've left behind. Still not too late.

Actually Life was fielded in 6/7 of their matches in round 4, as was Stats. Those last two games were filled by TY with Zest and Flash playing in every match. So it wasn't so much that he started "rotating" those three as much as he gave TY a few charity games but for the most part played his four best players, which I think he will continue to do. Losira and Trust will get some charity games but the lineup should still be Life/Zest/Stats/TY

Ok Losira I can understand, to complement the lone zerg team in Life, but why pick up Trust? He's going to have a really hard time competing for a starting spot with the likes of Zest and Stats, not to mention there's Believe as well.

They still have one of the strongest starting lineups in PL, which can go toe to toe with the other three big teams

Believe doesn't live in the KT teamhouse and has not been seen or heard of (in terms of SC2) since 2014.

Sure, but it would make sense to hire a big-hitter to replace Flash.

Kangho will always be known to me as Losira

I hope these pickups will mix up the lineups from the consistent Flash+Zest+TY+Life+Stats lineup that we've seen

Well Losira was the player with the most wins who wasn't on a top 4 team. So for Proleague, he certainly is a heavy hitter.

(and let's be honest - it's unlikely that any really big name leaves their team and joins another Proleague team, they're probably getting paid very well as is)

While upgrading from flash to an actual big hitter would be nice I think kt can be happy with what they have

No need to be salty, but Flash wasn't really that strong in proleague 2015. Below 50% winrate.
I wouldn't consider that performance to be worthy of the title "big-hitter"
The years before that aren't really important for this comment imo.

That wasn't salty, come on. I was responding to a joke.

But one thing I wanna say is, I don't like looking at the year-end winrates, I prefer the winrates per round, imo that's more informative than saying "X% winrate" as an average over 10 months of play. E.g. Zest went 6-5 in round 1 with some pretty bad losses. In round 4 he went 7-0 and was the most dominant player in Proleague. There's a pretty clear development there that his year-end winrate doesn't do justice.

When you click on the Believe link it links to the canadian protoss? Is that correct? I assumed it was just a mislink, but is the foreigner protoss Believe in KT? If so I had no idea

No it's the wrong Believe. Not that it matters because nobody has proof the Korean Believe is still on KT.
