Can't wait how the high level players will play the new units, and who can find out new exciting strategies first.

If the 2016 season is anything like that, the meta/players will have stabilized long before the playoff spots are determined. On October 11 2015 09:36 HzVee wrote: I'd like Bo7 with 2 archon matches! Feels like next year is going to be fairly different. Samsung could at least be top 4 if Solar didn't underperform so hard in proleague. You'd think a player with 3 premier titles in HotS could get a winrate better than 26%.

With Legacy of the Void on the horizon, the first iteration of a LotV Proleague was confirmed on-stream during today's SK Telecom Proleague Grand Finals. The chairman of IeSF (confirmation needed) merrily confirmed the continuation of Proleague into the new year, thanking the fans for their unending support of the league and stating that professional Starcraft II in Korea could not have gone on without them. he used to be chairman of kespa but resigned because there was a new rule stating he couldn't be a president of a government organization and hold a district position (or something like that) at the same time. i dont actually think he's the chairman of iesf but he still has a lot of power within kespa. The chairman also promised that there will be additional KeSPA Cups going forward, at least one (supposedly one yet to be played in 2015) but presumably more. there is the lol kespa cup next month but no sc2 one for this year.

More or less, at least. I've not heard anything to the contrary, but I'm fuzzy on whether or not it was explicitly confirmed to be continuing into 2016. I think so. SPOTV confirmed the 2016 SSL at the end of Seasons 3.

Bo5 is fine, we get to see the very top players, not the B teamers, and the matches are already quite long to watch every monday and tuesday. Going to Bo7 will result in lower level matches, longer days and will require more decent players to skip travelling to other events because they have to work on proleague. Trust me, Bo7 will not result to lower level matches. It will lead to way more excitement
