Why are all 3 KT players on the same side of the bracket? :/

There is a fetish among TL writers this year in order to put Life 2nd in everything.

Come on, you seriously can't put Maru 1st because of some random proleague stats (I assume that is why Maru is first, because after all, Life has more accomplishments in individual leagues than Maru): yeah, you can put some all-kills or reverse-kills like Zest's last year or Byul's this year, but whatever, Maru has done neither of these this year.

Oh, and by the way, Dear fighting !

Life is #1 in every ranking there is.

This is almost exactly my opinion if you switch Byul for Zest.

PartinG fighting! If he keeps up the work he put in for the GSL, Life's going down this time!

Life should have an easy path to the finals imo, given the players form on his side of the bracket. The bottom bracket comes down to herO-Parting-Maru

Really? His first opponent is either Dream or Stats. Not easy. Fantasy/Zest? Not easy. Dark/Losira in ZvZ? Not easy.

It comes down more to form. This isn't a 'if we finished 2015, who would we consider best player of the year?' award - well, it half is, but half of it is form. I ask you - what has Life honestly done since winning GSL? Not much, right? Maru's gone 6-1 in Proleague, and stomped both Zest and Billowy in individual leagues. The form gets him the #1 over Life, because Life's results aren't as significantly better than Maru's.

Also, Maru's 3-kill was arguably more impressive than ByuL's :p While it wasn't from 1-3 down (it was from 1-2 instead), it was against generally better opponents in generally better games.

I'd very much like to see herO vs Soulkey going: 1. nexus first vs 10-pool on Expedition Lost, 2. Proxy hatch on Vaani, 3. roach all-in on Echo, 4. early pool into mass roach on Code, 5. standard game; and see how well he does in comparison.

Comparatively I would say it is. There's Maru, herO, Parting, Soulkey and Byul on the other side of the bracket.

Not sure Soulkey's gonna play that all-iny tomorrow again. Seems too predictable.

Maru is going to crush everyone here, and I've been super impressed with Fantasy in the few games thus far. The whole tournament is going to be so very good.

Seriously, the 2015 theme for losira is "Resurrected by Choya". Now hold on!!!!! This would seem to imply that if Losira was on a different team, he wouldn't have thrived. Seriously??!!!!!!!!!! The theme should be "Choya gives Kangho an inch, he'll take a mile." You put him on any kespa team and he would have done as well. That's just gross. His fall in 2014, came from not being able to practice due real life.

He was one of the most stable players in code s. being 3/5 seasons in 2012 and all the seasons of 2013. Losira was in GSL code s for two years (minus Skipping a season due to ewm, MLG and helping his semifinalist teammate squirtle )

+ Show Spoiler +

2012 GSL Season 1
EWM week 3 finals- losira misses GSL season 2 quals
2012 GSL Season 3 loss to hack
2012 GSL season 5

2013 GSL code S season 1
2013 GSL code S season 2
2013 GSL code S Season 3

Then LG stopped sponsoring IM Losira and squirtle were looking for a team when the gstl was collapsing and the kespa flooded market.

Lg stopped sponsoring IM. without a team, he didn't have the money to focus on starcraft and then first time he gets another chances he flourishes. Losira was at his peak when he had to stop playing because of kepsa and then comes back and you give all the credit to choya?!!

Come on. You guys can do better than that for the 2015 theme. It wasn't just Choya.

herO wins, Parting loses

PR positions of Parting and herO should have been swapped and this tournament proved it
