Startale is the last Korean org to not join KESPA, so it's literally like a nod to that, I would think.

But Mvp and Prime are not affiliated with KeSPA? How specifically does that kind of thing work? Don't teams just participate in proleague but not actually affiliate themselves with the stricter regulations that the bigger teams follow?

Pretty good news, although it probably signs Prime's death sentence.

Basically when they left eSF. Anyway, good news for StarTale. Maybe they turn out to be a contender for the 4th playoff spot. Probably not, because the top 4 are just... insanely strong... but who knows.

In late 2013, MVP, IM, Prime, and Najin (LoL organization) joined Kespa. In the last year or so, Kespa has made it so you dont necessarily need to join them to participate in Proleague.

(which MVP and Prime participate in regularly)

Honestly that's why I didn't like that Prime Sbenu rumor, it's too much akin to making fun of the poor kid for being poor.

(which MVP and Prime participate in regularly) I think they've gotten a lot more lenient since 2013, the only real major hurdle with Kespa and like the foreign scene anymore, is that those teams get their money with exposure from Proleague, so it used to be so rare to see Kespa players partiicpate in foreign events, which was really a disservice considering that just wrecks their chances to accumulate WCS points (at least before this year)
