I'd like to think ROG / Assembly admin Azhrak started a trend of releasing replays asap, but indeed IEM took it to the next level! :D

They have been available neatly organized 1-2 days after the event. Note that events which do not stream each match have to collect the replays from several computers, and then parse the tournament games from a large amount of files found (luckily now there is SC2Gears). If each match is streamed, it's pretty simple to just grab the files from an admin or observer computer. I guess this is one reason DreamHack does not always release a replay pack from their events which contain more than 32 players. Their latest big pack, DH Bucharest 2014, contains 329 replays. Also we must give credit to DreamHack for releasing replays since 2011 without much delay. I think MLG was the one known for a slow delivery.
