JYP ! One of the few protosses that managed to make me laugh for both his personality and his game style.
Its a sad loss, the guy definitively had his own vision of the game, i remember him doing some craaaaaaaazy stuff.

Damn, I'll miss him.

I had the chance to meet him last fall when he was studying abroad at Northwestern University, which is in the town I live in (I live like a block away). Shame I never took it up since I was away at college myself.

JYP will always be one of the most creative PvZ players of all time, who even in WoL (along with HerO) was doing the kind of harass-oriented warp prism style against Zerg that is now standard. In honor of him, here's one of my favorite games of his, against DongRaeGu in Code A of GSL 2011 August:

Is it just me, or didn't he already officially retire several months ago? When I first read this a few days ago I was amazed at the amount of people surprised - still am.

I don't recall him officially retiring before, I think it just seemed that way since we haven't really seem him play in much since his contract with EG ended, which was a long time ago. But players sometimes all but vanish for a long time and then pop back up, like LosirA for example.
