Means this time next year the finals will be happening. They abandoned it last season unless you count the playoffs. Either it's too early or they're probably not changing it if they didn't say anything yet with this announcement imo.

The text also contains some details mentioning that domestic leagues will cater to international tournaments more, and occur on weekdays as well. It's likely that the three remaining weekdays (and saturday) will be occupied by SPOTV League and GSL. That's 6 days a week of Korean SC2.

I don't understand why Monday/Tuesday would help with foreign tournaments though as Monday in particular makes traveling difficult. Might be something lost in translation there. No kidding, especially combined with the gom/spotv tournaments. meaning korea is going to have a lot of activity. which will be great for the scene as a whole. I dont understand the monday/tuesday either. if they play monday. and go to a foreign tournament... the amount of travel time will make that highly unlikely that they could be in the finals and make it back in time for PL. Even tuesday would cause issues depending on location. flights etc. On October 31 2014 20:45 lichter wrote: The text also contains some details mentioning that domestic leagues will cater to international tournaments more, and occur on weekdays as well. Wonder how this would affect players like parting/rain.
