So what I am trying to say: There are 3 opponents that player X could have gotten. But there were only 2 balls(names) in cup. 1 player from his ro16 group and +1 guy(player Y) are not in that draw. ESL decides who(player y) is not in that draw | ||

ESL decides who is out Ah I see so honestly Vortix had a 1 in 3 chance of getting Golden, but ESL pulled one out that wasn't Golden, so honestly it was a 50% chance that we got a ZvZ? Sorry I didn't actually see the selection process. And wait the other elimination isn't random either is it? It's to avoid Ro4 rematches as well. | ||

EDIT: For a little extra clarity, since all of the 2nd-places get drawn first, Vortix knew before the 1st-place finishers were even drawn that he wouldn't face Stardust, because Stardust wound up getting drawn onto the same side of the bracket as ForGG. | ||
