Team Empire used to be one of the most consistent teams in Europe, and one of the strongest adversaries in team leagues. Their Terrans were especially noteworthy - Empire was the Terran equivalent of Team Acer's Zerg, with Beastyqt, Happy, Kas and BRAT_OK leading the charge. The lineup wasn't limited to Terrans however, with players such as Welmu, Siw, NaNiwa, Nerchio, Bly and TheMista being talent on the team. They also sported Korean aces which made them a contender not just for European team leagues, but for international competitions. viOLet and VINES carried the Empire flag throughout 2012.
Unfortunately, Team Empire started to downsize in 2013, and the once formidable roster was reduced to their two last champions: Kas and Happy, and an academy squad, until a few weeks ago, when Kas and Empire parted ways.
However, whilst minimising the size of their professional roster, Empire was still interested in developing talent by maintaining an academy team, and last week happened to be the graduating event of one of the academy players, Vyacheslav ' Easy' Trushkin, who has now joined the main squad of Team Empire alongside Happy. Easy swept aside the rest of his academy team mates in a competition spanning over two weekends, winning eight consecutive sets of BO3 matches, and a 1,000 rubles to boot.

Haven't seen him play yet, but if Empire is promoting him, he must be quite skilled. Looking forward to see him play.

Good to see Empire replenishing their line-up a little.

well, it's sad that the old days of the great Empire Terrans are over but at least they don't seem to abbandon SC2 completely. So I'm looking forward to see Easy play and wish him gl for his endevours.

Congratulations to Easy on his promotion, and thank god they didn't confuse us all by promoting uThermal from their academy.

For the people who do not know, there is a player in the empire academy who also has uThermal as his name, this isn't the uThermal who currently is playing for AT gaming who went to ro 32 in premier.
