It's time for Round 3 of Fantasy Proleague! The first round was full of surprises (Bbyong!?) and great performances (herO[jOin]?!), and after a slew of roster changes, it's time to sign up and earn some esports dollars!
Here are some important facts to know going into Round 3:
Week 1 starters and maps will be announced... tomorrow, probably.
Round 3 will be the standard proleague format. See the scoring section for more info.
Matches will be played Sunday-Tuesday.
There will be 5 weeks of play.
Trading a team now incurs a -1 trade tax penalty.
Joining a group is now available from the group standings page (so you can link people to your group).
Lineup Appearance: +1 Point* Game Win: +2 Points Game Loss: -1 Point 3-Game Win Streak: +1 Point 6-Game Win Streak: +2 Points 9-Game Win Streak: +3 Points Ace Appearance: +1 Points Ace Win: +3 Ace Loss: -2 Break Another Player's Streak: +1 Point Your Player's Team Wins: +1 Point**
*This point is applied even if your player does not play; he only has to appear in the lineup **This counts for all players on the team's roster, even if they did not play in the match
SK Telecom T1: 2 Points (+2 for 3-2 Victory) MVP: 1 Point (+1 for 2-3 Defeat) Rain: 5 Points (+1 for lineup, -1 for loss, +1 for ace appearance, +3 for ace win, +1 for team win) soO: 4 Points (+1 for lineup, +2 for win, +1 for team win) Parting: 4 Points (+1 for lineup, +2 for win, +1 for team win) Soulkey: 1 Point (+1 for lineup, -1 for loss, +1 for team win) DongRaeGu: -1 Points (+1 for lineup, -1 for loss, +1 for ace appearance, -2 for ace loss) Dream: 3 Points (+1 for lineup, +2 for win) Shine: 3 Points (+1 for lineup, +2 for win) Super: 0 Points (+1 for lineup, -1 for loss) Everyone else on SK Telecom T1: 1 Point (+1 for team win) Everyone else on MVP: 0 Points
Check lineups each week! Players facing weak teams are generally more valuable.
Don't make trades just for sake of making trades, as they cost you trade tax points and you may get stuck with a player you don't want
The trade price formula takes into account number of matches remaining -- so players with more matches remaining will have higher prices
You must trade for players with less value, but try to minimize the value loss. For example, if you trade someone worth 30 for someone worth 20, next week you can only trade the 20 for someone less. It's much better to trade the 30 for someone worth 29.
Groups
You will be able to create and join groups so you can compare your results with a smaller subset of the players, for example there might be a Staff Group, a First Time FPL Group, a USA Players Group, or a group created by you with just your friends.
Rogue for 3 points is a steal as is Dark/Terminator for 1 point (they'll get points for T1/Jin Air wins and I think there's a chance they might play a game or two each). Creator at 8 points is tempting for my anti team.

I'm not too sure actually, creator isn't as solid atm as he was early R2 and he's had a few disappointing losses lately. mkp will probably stay about 50-50, hopefully leenock can go positive, like 4-2 would be great but it might be a bit too optimistic. pretty much I think creator will be less super-ace now than he was last round

And I hope some people would understand that players like soO aren't that great in PL. Sure, they do well in individual leagues, but without any outstanding decision making, they're definitely vulnerable to losses in BO1's. If you are about to say soO is solid, well... I think he could have won the GSL, if he made better decisions in this engagements... That's the problem with soO. He's pretty solid as a series player, but with rather mediocre decision making for a top caliber player, he's definitely in trouble when he goes to BO1's, where every decision dictates the overall outcome.

Mixed the dates because I could still change my team this morning so tried some updates! I had no idea the games started. Got disqualified! >_< Oh well, was counting on that it would be closed in time. Not much to do... cya in week 4.
I also did miss that the round had started....did not change anything in my team, but submitted it again....damn it...But I had Stork and Roro in anti team so might be as good that i´m not in this round =) Good luck to all!

This is not the start I envisioned at all, Rogue and Zest failing to win. Then TAiLS losing to a Prime Terran I've never heard of, I was kind of expecting Life and soO to let me down too.
Little worried about Bbyong tomorrow as he's playing sOs but I'm feeling ok about Rogue. EffOrt was terrible last round.
I'm at 17 points after today's matches (yay!). Tomorrow i expect points from RorO, Reality, herO, Rogue and Samsung, so I should be in pretty good spot. Even Byun brought me one point, which is nice, considering he was worth 0 points.

Seems like when I play FPL, one round I'll go all-in on Khan, the next go entirely anti-Khan. So far so good keep it up Khan, I'll only entirely root against you next round!

Solar was a beast for me in round 1 when he cost 3 points. Good thing I didn't pick him last round when he costed 7 lol
The one time I don't pick Maru he starts losing, if I'd gone full yolo mode on him I'd be so screwed right now. All I'm doing now is rethinking having two CJ players on my anti and wondering whether I should switch out IM for another team x_x

Top 200 after week 1, like everyone else who followed pangpootata's advice. Aiming for top 100 this round.
Go to the trading tab in the FPL menu and then you'll see : Main ( O B S ) ( O is the number of owners of this player in their main , B is how many bought him and S how many traded ''sold'' him ) same goes for anti
Can't really complain about the results of the guys I've picked. I sort of pigeon hole myself by always picking Flash and KT no matter what, but it got me third place I think 2 seasons ago and 1 bad trade away(for Hyuk I think) from #1 in the BW days.

Roro is like a lose lose. If he's on your main, he doesn't get enough points to justify his costs, if he's on your anti he scores just enough to bump you down from where you want to be. At least thats my experience in all my seasons of FPL starting with the first one(I skipped a few after the match fixing scandal).

Man herO you're KILLING me with these Ace match losses. He's had the potential to score sooo many points, but those PvPs got the best of him. It's led me to a pretty big rating drop this week :/

Yeah herO really dissapointed me so far. I should have taken SKT1 and soO instead of Samsung and herO T_T. I would have so much more points...
I traded Soulkey for Rain a few rounds back and soO for ByuL. Definitely paying off, broke top 200. Still waiting on MKP for Reality to pay off somehow but since Samsung lost 3-0 to IM, Reality didn't even get to play. Anyone who had Rain on anti... well... ow
I got away with trading Marine King for Byul. That's been going decently for me. I just wish I knew how much trading was involved with FP before starting. I bought my original squad with the intentions of having them most of the round.

Trading Rain for sOs isn't as stupid as it seems, sOs will certainly come out next week, SKT and Jin Air both have two matches left, and sOs is more likely to come out as ace against MVP than Rain is against KT (PartinG is probably better against Flash and about as good against Zest)
