Thought I'd share some map data from SPL before we go into some new ladder maps (and also Round 3). These stats include everything EXCEPT the Round 2 Playoff Finals. I'm taking them all from a data sheet that our stats wizard (Jihwan Yi) made for me. Some pretty interesting info in here. Have fun with it.

Very intresting stats! I am actually impressed by how well Terran plays against Protoss since the last balance patch. Think it is mainly because the astonishing amount of strong Terrans compared to the Protosses. Also zergs seem really weak in these stats. Can somebody sum up ideas behind this?

No real ubber zergs nowadays, Soulkey and Rogue are fucking strong, but the other are still lacking imho. DRG doing somewhat good, but still.
Also, your results don't include the final playoff match between Jin Air and MVP yet, the wikipedia page does.
More interesting would be to hear your take on these stats!
The stats on TLPD and liquipedia aren't "official" stats (I'm amazed that theres enough dedicated fans around to keep all of this up to date, really awesome tbh)

PvZ: Good Protoss figured out consistent ways to play against SHs and bad Protoss figured out that they still can just Immortal/Sentry against anybody that is favored against them. TvZ: Not sure, but Maps were pretty good for Terran these rounds, if you were willing to play to them. Tanks are pretty good these days.

Yeah, it's crazy too because every TLPD stat and every stat I get from sc2replaystats (thousands of games) has Zerg about equal with protoss and zerg having like a 55% win ratio against terran on it.
If anyone is interested I recently started gathering which maps were the best, worst and most played by each player. User:Xpaperclip/Carno/Player Map Statistics (Presentation is a bit crap so probably won't make it to mainspace any time soon.)
(I also started including the relevant information in lineup posts and no one noticed haha)

Well this will make my Fantasy league much easier to set up lol
People figured out what MC understood three years ago, playing macro against zerg is annoying and takes time, just bombard them with cheeses and proxies. Something will usually stick.
