Hot6ix, a Korean energy drink, will be the sponsor for all of the GSL touranments in 2014. They will also sponsor an 8-man, year-end tournament in the Hot6ix Cup as they did in 2013.
Hot6ix's first GSL sponsorship came in 2012, when Hot6ix sponsored the first GSL Season 1. In total, Hot6ix was the main sponsor for 4 GSL tournaments and 2 GSTL tournaments in 2012. In 2013, Hot6ix was the main sponsor for 1 GSL season and 1 GSTL season.
I don't quite understand this, i thought blizzard sponsors korea "wcs" too? Maybe i did not understand it correctly, but blizzard even said they rise the prizepool for korea? How does this fit in then?

I'd guess this helps pay for the GSL production costs (employees, studio, etc).

WCS EU has had sponsors too (and probably has some now too) in Roccat and others. I guess Blizzard pays a set amount and if GOM or ESL wants to raise production values or whatever, they can put in their own money or find sponsors.
