I have been reading the last threads about the Proleague, and I found a lot of confusion. Some lost sheeps claim that KT Rolster, will win Proleague, other poor and misguided souls affirm that SKT T1 will win the most famous team league in the world. And I ask myself: Apoteosis, why are they so confused, when the answer is so obvious? ST-IM will win, not just the Round 2, but the entire Proleague as well.
Some of you, probably as lost and confused as the people I mentioned above, may be asking to yourselves, how is that possible? Incredible Miracle finished fifth last round, they couldn't make it to the playoffs, and they had a recorded history of performing poorly in team leagues. Well, it all changed when the most glorious team of Starcraft 2 arrived to the KeSPA grounds:
Is that Bomber, right?
So, as you can see, the glorious Startale joined up with Incredible Miracle to rock the Proleague and shed a river of tears from Flash fangirls and Maru groupies. Together, they will rush and STIM for the gold, with their combat shields safely held in their left arms.
But, still, if that fact alone can't persuade even the most devoted fanboys over there, let's bring some other facts to the table.
STIM has nine GSLs in their pockets. I mean, come on. You really expect KT Rolster to win the Proleague when they got ZERO GSLs?. Yeah, Flash, someday you will win a GSL; in the meanwhile, enjoy Code B.
Now, lets count premiere tournaments. Mvp alone has more premiere titles (9) than the whole roster of SKT T1 combined (8). While Parting makes his silly ceremonies, Life is taking the gold to the home. Come on, Parting, celebrate less and win more. Anyways, STIM has more premiere titles than Maru's actual age. Yeah, Maru, when you reach maturity, you can expect to defeat STIM. And speaking of which, Maru, please watch the Blizzcon 2011 finals. There, Mvp used a certain unit that got nerfed after that match. Use it, it's good you know?
Now, do you really want me to count all of the RO4 appears of the entire STIM roster? Even Curious reached RO4 in a GSL, heh! Sorry Fantasy, you can still warm the bench while STIM jumps into the spotlight.
So, do I need to keep this going? Or you can surrender to the evidence: STIM is coming for you. STIM is hungry for the gold. STIM will rush to your bases and drop manner mules while dancing on a rainy day, enjoying the fanboy tears.
Behold the future: You are watching the individual who will win the Most Wins award, the Rookie of the Year award, and the one who will carry STIM to glory

He can't. I mean, you actually CAN make a thread about Prime hype, but it will contain mostly delusions, fantasies and hallucinations, since all their players are slumping. I mean, your ace is Creator? That's why Prime fans are forced to cheer another teams, because if they are sane, they can't seriously expect Prime to win anything.

A very nice try (not like the fans of dat team that starts with a P), but you know, we are talking about sc2 right? It's like quoting the Real Madrid's Champions League from the sixties...
And yet Zest just allkills you ez, but hey second place isn't that bad either
My fight is with IMST. The team that didn't make the playoffs. I can't argue recent results. If the owners of SK Telecom and sponsors of spl ask SKT T1 to throw the finals in order for the season to be more exciting instead of total domination then that's what happens. They still have the real finals in the bag.

Just like they had round 1 in the bag. Or the last SPL...or the goofy hybrid league.
Even after snagging Soulkey, Bravo, and Classic they still didn't win. Even after Oov returned. Some masters.
IM is just in a transitional period after losing key players, they'll win in the end, it's what they do.

STIM is gonna blow everyone out of the water. Why?
1. The best goddamn name in Proleague.
2. Life's Good.
3. HerO bringing THE THIRST FOR BLOOD.
But actually, I feel like STIM bring the most diverse roster to the table and are definitely going to find themselves able to adapt to whatever changes in the meta happen over the next few rounds. Yeah, Life's PvZ isn't amazing right now, but it's still pretty brilliant. Also, he'll be out of school in the next few rounds, which has historically risen his level of performance.
Squirtle, being reunited with his former team, will reach his final form, ST.IM.MegaBlastoise, and defeat Flash, Stork, Maru, and PartinG in a 4v1 final match.

But... but... You're quoting results from WoL. Although I will give you bonus points on Aphrodite! Also, you shouldn't forget MisS either.
To be honest, the problem with STIM is the small number of clutch players. Life has been doing poorly in ZvP. YongHwa and Squirtle have been sheer disappointment. HerO is inconsistent, and IM lost some core players like LosirA (god, I hated how sloppy he was), YoDa, and First. Also, it doesn't help that ST suffer from the loss of Bomber who wanted to relax for the last year of his career. But I did pick STIM as part of my FPL, because they are definitely strong contenders and have shown a lot of promise during the last part of Round 1.
The only players I would consider to be clutch are ByuL and Curious, but they are no where near as good as people like Solar, RorO (gross...), Classic, PartinG, TY, Flash, Soulkey (although he has been a disappointment last round), and Maru.
This thread is hilarious... STIM will not win ro2 of ProLeague let alone the whole thing lol, bcuz 1. it would literally be an Incredible MIracle (it's already suggested in their name). and 2. it is a star's tale, meaning it is a story that's both out of likelihood will happen, and out of this earth.

You know, when you gamble like author of this topic did, you have to accept risks. Basically he went all-in with his big-mouthed claims about how great this team is. If he would post this in more neutral way, he would get less reactions, whether positive or not.

But I agree some shittalking is in order. It's banter from both sides it can be friendly!
Shame that people are quick to blow the "HA, TOLD YOU SO" 20:20 hindsight horn - but ultimately, it was unlucky that they got 3-0'd after the creation of this post!
This game is very unpredictable at the best of times, rarely is there a case of a 'sure thing' !
Sometimes you need to step backwards in order to get more impulse and jump a lot more forward. You know, like a handful of marines that need to go backwards and split because of banelings, and once they're out, STIM TO THE WIN !

I definitely agree that trash-talking should be a part of these threads. They make a point out of devaluing the other teams' players to make an (hyperbolic) argument about one's own team. It's all in good fun, but if you say that X team is bad and proceed to lose to X team, then you should expect to hear about it. There's a reason that people mock me when Roro wins a game or when CJ loses, for example.

I don't mind bantering or good-humored trash talking because it can be pretty funny when your team/player loses (and we all know how much fun it is talk about your anti-RorOism, which you inspired me to follow LOL). The problem is unfunny shit-talking, which you see some posters do here. Even PartinG was sorry/ashamed for his ruler ceremony against Flash. If you want to trash talk, at least be clever about it because a good humored person can at least appreciate it.
Plus, unlike those guys, OP at least put some effort and some fun stuff in his claim. Also, BisuDagger made some funny statements on how many Proleague wins SKT1 has. Even you stated how the title should be "Why STIM WON'T win." All of this hype should be for fun and laughs, not something serious and thoughtless that pisses people off!

LOL, this was the best post ever. Thank you for that.
Really hoping STIM show some good performances this round. While Mvp is in Korea, I hope he's played and dominates. Would be nice to see a Life rerise to stardom too. The only downside is that STIM have so many "A-teamers" that aren't really "A-team" material right now. This prevents us from seeing B-team players showing big upsets and overall hurts their chances to provide the upset of winning round 2 in itself.
Anyways, after JinAir, Stork and herO, I'll be rooting for STIM!

And sorry to tell you but my heart says KT will win(since i am a KT fanboy you know) but i think SKT or Prime will win.
What? How does that happen?

The draws for Jin Air are unfavorable this week, but Samsung should be a sweep ^^

but I still enjoyed the write up lol
and yet the giant elephants haven't even won anything. Flash can't even keep up with code a, and jaedong spent the whole year to win a single major toruney... Not even a wcs na championship.

On the other hand Parting can all-kill the whole STIM lineup and make everyone laugh in every other break between matches while in STIM there is no player who can return the favor.

A wild PartinG appears! Go, Life! Life uses BLIZZARD CUP 2012 It's super effective! PartinG faints! STIM to the win!
If you're using Pokémon analogy then it will make more sense to use squirtle. And I'm not saying that life can't beat anyone on the good day from skt - just that in his current form I don't see him beating everyone at once.
