Taken from this article, the KeSPA chairman has announced that there are plans for an international SC2 tournament in Seoul, which will be a part of the WCS tier system (it will award WCS points). Details are very vague right now regarding the date or scale of the tournament. The only sure thing is that KeSPA wants it to be in Seoul.

For all the fear of Kespa pre-transition to SC2 they've by and large only done good for the scene and produce great content across LoL and SC2. | ||

I get the feeling that he wants more opportunities for KR players who doesn't participate in foreign tourneys regularly. Not sure how many foreigners are willing to participate though.. | ||
