According to his Twitter, Nathanias is teamless.

Nathan Fabrikant ‏@nathaniastv 2 h

For business/career-related reasons, I must announce my departure from ROOT gaming. Love the team/players, but I need a new direction atm.

Its more like a team needs caster (or any other famous person that brings viewers), ability to play game good matters maybe in kespa teams.

I mean I don't think people really associated Nathanias with the team. So I don't see this being a big deal for either party. Plus casters don't really need to be on teams

Probably because he wouldn't shave that awfulness off his chin.

Just Kidding, good luck to him! I like his casting a lot.

I highly doubt anyone on ROOT is making a salary and those that may aren't making more than minimum wage or are fueled on easy credit. They have no financial sponsors and fail to do any media exposure.

Congrats to Nathanias for the smart move.

anyways, lets hope he gets picked up by someone who can offer him a decent living.

edit: not that ROOT is a bad team, I mean its the best NA has to offer atm. I just hope Nathanias left because he had another offer on the table.

I like this imagery so much that this is now how I will always picture ROOT paying for anything, just through catz's masterful calender sales pitches.

I hope that ROOT get some real content going soon from their house. I know just how hard it is to get the time, have e decent end product but I think that's needed since we do not see anything come out from ROOT. I would lov to get to know the players more. Weekly/monthly updates on progress. Rutines of the house, how the players enjoy it there. Give us some sweet content!

On topic... (fail by me)
I guess its only a natural move by Nathanias since other partners, employee etc contacts you. Gotta take every chance you can to make it!

He is listed as a caster, but he was on the roster for ATC and even played a game at the end of the season.

lol yeah cause team casters get money....

I might be joining a pro team in the near future as a caster, and they won't pay me cash but they will give me free hardware and such.

The funny thing is, a lot of people think that casters on pro teams get paid poop-tons, when in fact I think maybe the only caster who may have been paid that much ever in history, just for joining a team, might just be Orb. Why do I say that? Because he joined both EG and Quantic and was banned from both.

In the interview with Wax at IEM he said he wasn't going to be a castor for Proleague, though if offered he probably would take the job.

Well wherever he goes, good luck to him. Definitely a talented caster

i ahve to say nathanias is becoming one of my preferred casters as he doesnt do the "sooo soooo whatever" stupid line im hearing and "he really is" or "it really is" he actually commentates with confidence and doesnt have to fill every single one of his sentences with leader comments to disguise the fact hes bad at the game, nathanias seems a pretty solid masters . . but seriously casters listen back to urselves, or listen to this guy cos that bullshit sentence filler youre doing and cock riding certain players is fucking annoying now after listening to it for 2 yrs. staaap

The biggest impact ROOT has had on the scene is cloggin up forums with these unnecessary 'announcements'.

'Being on' ROOT is completely meaningless as they are an insignificant operation, so why make these meaningless announcements?

Proud of what? They got crowd funding because they promised to release regular content from the house for the community. Then they took the money and got an unnecessarily expensive house (with a swimming pool mind you). They have yet to release any kind of content whatsoever.

People who pay to support teams hardly ever do it simply for expected gains. This isn't kickstarter. And many of Root's members contribute quite a bit to weekly shows.

I highly doubt anyone on ROOT is making a salary and those that may aren't making more than minimum wage or are fueled on easy credit. They have no financial sponsors and fail to do any media exposure.

Congrats to Nathanias for the smart move.

Catz selling calendars door to door?

I like this imagery so much that this is now how I will always picture ROOT paying for anything, just through catz's masterful calender sales pitches.

There was me thinking it was a ROOT lemonade stand, with the O's being lemons and everything.

Watching fragbite masters was so boring cause of him.

how did they get a teamhouse in california? ( do they still have it lol? )

Catz selling calendars door to door?

Crowd Funding.

for real? Didnt know that. Thought it was all sponsors.

Im proud of yall guys!

Doesn't really matter tough. If you promise something you better hold yourself to it no matter that "people did it from the good of their selfless hearts" as you are implying.

Not sure if this is what he was talking about, but inbetween Acer cup casts he spent the entire ~1.5 hours bitching about Protoss, and when TB joined the RC/Skype channel/call the both of them were circle jerking over how bullshit toss is.
But at what cost ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

I was joking because every single protoss I played vs during that period (I somehow only played vs toss) did some form of one-base all-in

I try to be a real person when I'm not trying to work for other people, I apologize if as a player my thoughts on the game are not the same as when I cast :D it's the heat of the moment!

To be fair, I play Protoss and all I do is one base all-in.

Doubt many people knew he was on ROOT in the first place - which speaks volumes for ROOT itself. Anyway, leaving an unsignificant team with no merit to it's name, isn't something to worry about if you have high goals.
