Very close to where the NASL finals last summer were - just on the closer side of the airport and thus much easier to get to from the city. No, the Toronto Congress Centre is in Etobicoke (Toronto). The International Centre was in Mississauga.

You're trying to compare one of these events to a concert when concerts actually have around the same amount of people and are only a few hours? That's terrible and the MTCC is used for much bigger events. Sure there might be some live music but it's actually used for stuff that is convention material. Heck it's in the bloody name. Rico Coliseum is a decent size and I do believe it would be possible to sell 7,700 tickets for an event (and that's just the rink). Rico isn't that pricey to rent out either the problem is the scheduling of the dates. To get it for an entire weekend three days straight. You better have a big advance... not only that but you better pray the Marlies are on a lonnnnng road trip. Really not an easy venue to get lol during October. It's usually booked.

So happy since it's only 15-20 minutes drives from my house :D As a Mississauga resident you should know that the border of Toronto/Mississauga is the 427 which the TCC is east of! So no they shouldn't treat things in Toronto as if they aren't. edit: beaten by Incanus

As you people can see the GTA is huge and we have a lot of regions so this is quite common. It's funny because the Pearson Airport is located in Mississauga yet you go a few blocks and what do you know. The TCC is actually in Etobicoke. Lines get blurred. ;o

On the contrary, tis a good thing the finals will be held in this gem of the commonwealth.

So once again - are season finals each 2 months? (I don't follow SC2 since the BW/SC2 beta so i'm not really into this stuff)

Montreal is great for the Europeans; Vancouver is great for people coming from Australia, Asia and anyone on the West Coast etc. and Toronto is well Toronto. Toronto acts as a connector between the two and I'd say it's a convenient place for mainland Americans to travel to. I don't really see a Premier League/Tournament going outside of those cities.

Which is perfectly normal, lower production cost so it's great. edit: So hype for WCS I already am looking for a place to stay and I figure they're will be a thread for co-drivers soon or I'll make it since Canada is a big place and I need to drive 1 500 km to get there.
