Our favorite PvP specialist, dark templar extraordinar, and GSL runner-up has retired August 2nd, 2013. From a google translate translation (if someone speaks korean, and wishes to translate, please do) he has decided to retire from SC2 after the disbandment of Azubu. He hopes to find a good career in his future. You will be missed Inca! His history started in the community favorite team Old Generations Starcraft (oGs), upon their disbandment he joined team ApeX, and finished his career in team Azubu. InCa's accomplishments include: - 2nd place in 2011 LG Cinema 3D GSL May: Code S
- 1st place in ESV TV Korean Weekly Season 1 #11

To the shadows he runs...

This OP sucks
Not enough dark templar jokes
You even included an actual picture of him
Anyway goodluck Inca you were certainly memorable

Gonna miss this guy, he made dts become my favorite unit of all time

Nobody has made a thread for 3 days of his retirement. Would suck to not get a thread for such an accomplished player. It appeared as if nobody was going to do it, so I took initiative.

You could say since his GSL runner up he has been...invisible. To the scene at least
|
I remember this guy from the oldschool days. He got alot of hate for his style. But he was always fun times

This thread needs to allow [invisible] tags.

This OP says that Azubu disbanded. So I guess Azubu officially disbanded.

What a baller, good luck with you future endeavours.
|
The scene is changing, it's sad. The only part I'm looking forward to is new stars emerging out of nowhere.
|
Disappeared just like a DT running away from an Orbital Scan or an Overseer.
Best of wishes InCa, may your love of DTs continue on to the future.

Better I just really want [invisible] tags in this thread I tried, but I can't live up to KristofferAG's screenshot of the background of a TL post into imgur hosting of the blank post into a post. Most meta InCa related thing ever.

Another one bites the dust...
Oh how I will miss thee Mr. Dark Templar persistent man.
|
Damn, I almost was forced to quit SC2 forever due to his DTs vs Nestea. Goodbye Inca.

Haha you still play Protoss?
I just used scan...

at least the kid made his mark on the sc2 scene before bowing out.
best of luck to him in the future
|
Nestea vs Inca. The worst finals I ever stayed up late to watch.
|
I don't think he's going to be the last Azubu refugee to retire, sadly.

Should have been a spore crawler with DTs attacking it and once the spore dies the text disappears again

I don't understand it, but it looks complicated.

Was never my favorite, but definitely appreciated him. GL Inca!

Did he really use DTs that much? Even in important matches?
|
GL to inca, he was decent early on in sc2

Best of luck to Inca. Too bad he couldn't achieve more after his GSL finals. Nestea's curse no doubt!

Inca gets too much hate.
Yes, he cheesed everyone's favorite player at the time Nada right out of the GSL, denying people Nada vs Nestea final, but he did this because he is awesome.
|
ahahaahaha. T_T though i will miss that big inca
|
I'm rewatching the Nestea Inca finals as a tribute, probably won't take more than an hour.

I finished watching the finals, my god that was terrible. NesTea fanboyism was funny though.

what season was the Nestea vs Inca finals? I wanna watch now

Sad news indeed... Good luck to him.

Those days were Tastosis's peak as well as Nestea's imo.
I love any player with a gimmick or unique play style, in a world where there's almost hundreds of players all indistinguishable from each other it's nice to have a player who's recognisable on play style alone, even if it was DT rushing.
I miss the days when you knew Inca was going to build DT's, Hongun was going blink stalkers/void rays, Genius was going proxy stargate and MC was just going to all in you with anything he wanted. Way more fun than everyone doing the same builds.
|
GLHF InCa. I'll never forget how much you were hyped by your coach before your keyboard keys were all bound to dark shrine and DTs.

You should rewatch his series vs Nada instead. You'll get to feel his awesomeness and it definitely won't take more than one hour.

AZUBU disbands? OMG now that eSF has only 5 team....and won't increase anymore. Korean SC2 scene is not big enough to hold 2 different organization. KeSPA and eSF should merge.
|
I laughed and cried at the same time.
Damn you Inca
|
I actually thought that was the season NaDa would win a GSL :/
Good luck to him though
|
Fun fact; InCa is one of two players to ever leave a GSL game without GGing, the other being Naniwa who has done it a few times. InCa did so after getting cheesed out of the tournament by FruitDealer in the first GSL.

Epic post ! Props to the OP.
Now, onto actual business, when I make DTS, I'll scream aloud "InCaaaaaaaaaaa!", in honor of his sneaky memory lol
EDIT: InCa will be always in our memories, just like BitByBit.... both probably won nothing, but their lasting legacy will be remembered by all SC2 players worldwide.

finally, this was long overdue. same as cool in the beginning: as long as no truly skilled players were there, they could be competitive, but now with all the kespa, they fail

Don't disrespect InCa, you'll never see him coming....

Man, that was like one of the only finals I ever went to with friends to see it with other people. After those finals, I didn't watch it in-person for a while, lol.

when Michael Jackson died, people played Thriller in the streets in his honor. When Inca retires, David Kim will retire his jersey and patch out the DT

You know, Rain himself summoned the InCa spirit against Mvp last year. And just like InCa, DTs failed.
So you should respect InCa and his InCa rule followed strictly by other KeSPA players like Trap and hyvaa (well, he's zerg but he still is commited to the InCa rule lol)
|
Hey Inca,
Just wanted to say that your PVP was the most badass shit ever in the early days of WoL.
Forcefielding Huk's DT's out of your base without an observer.
Oh, and your cannon rush against San on Metalopolis. (broke the ladder for about a week)
You are a bad man ^_^.
Take care homie - you will be missed (by me anyway).
PS - I really fucking miss oGs. T_T
