Sorry im a debbie downer but that's the truth about our current med school system. Also I will take everything back if you prove me wrong and bow to you online if I'm wrong.

You don't just get born with med school knowledge.

It's endless repetition and memorization. You can't be more gifted and just know the material in med school unlike other majors such as math, cs, engineering where you can be gifted and able to solve logic problems more easily. The reality is the people that get the highest grades do study a lot even if they act like they don't (to be modest or act cool).

You could argue some people memorize better and dont need to repeat it as much... something like photographic memory. That's why I said I would take back everything if this was the case.
