We have seen them kiss their trophy, but how did they react when the final gg was laid down and they realized they had won the entire tournament? Well, if you ever wanted to see how the champions reacted to their special moment, here you go. From fist pumping, to crying, to laughing like a maniac, here are the twenty one moments where a player became a champion.
DRG and MMA's second title are the only times that they weren't able to get a reaction inside the booth. MMA ran out and got mobbed by his team after he won. DRG ran from his booth and performed a ceremony on Genius.
What I like about Seed is how different it is compared to the others. He is just contemplating on the magnitude of what he won and isn't explicitly happy, more a combination of shock and utter joy. DRG one takes it for me because it was actually funny.

Remeber the context of their wins too. Nestea's 1st win was the only one where he actually struggled even the slightest bit in the series. The other two it was a long forgone conclusion that he was going to win, so you don't see the raw power of emotion at the win.
For MVP, same thing with his win against squirtle.
- Seed: such a confident hilarious guy all the way up to the interview. For him to just sit there taking it in, was pretty magical. - Life's 1st: the joy just spreads through him slowly it's =) worthy, - MVP's 4th: he's soooooooooooooo happy! hahaha - Nestea's 1st: as above - Soulkey's: He's crying right? To me it's like he was in disbelief when he pulled it off & he's getting his thoughts together by taking it all in. At the end of the day, it's an amazing feat.
I actually really like jjakji's a lot. He was probably the biggest underdog of all time and then he shocks the world of SC2 and picks apart the best player in the world. He looks so relieved, but at the same time so confident, as if he was the only guy in the world who knew he would win. His parents are pumped too.
MVP is a boss. He's probably the most lovable pro in the world. Every time he is so happy. He will definitely go down as the true King of Wings. Guy is already a legend and he's still winning.
Life's are really good too. He is so emotional in the first one, and then really calm and collected in the second one. Shows how much he grew in the short time between them.
Soulkey's was great because it was so unlikely and he is so happy. Another underdog story.
Fruitdealer... class. That's all I have to say. Classy as fuck.
Seed. This one hit the hardest. He's just sitting there with his eyes closed. His coach runs up, pumped. The world is going crazy and he's just sitting in his booth, letting it sink in peacefully.
This really goes to show how intense the GSL really is and how difficult it is to win one.

True, but Mvp celebrates all of his wins. His wins vs. MarineKing, TOP, and perhaps MarineKing Round 2 were all steamrolls. That didn't stop Mvp from relishing in his victory!
This is a great thread. Definitely cheered me up after watching the Game of Thrones episode tonight hahaha.
But in reality. I think that there are a lot of great reactions ranging from players being on the verge of tears like Life or just absolutely speechless like Seed. Great thread, great job
Seed's is the most bad ass!! But MVP has the most joy every time, he truly looks like he has accomplished something each time he wins and is really relieved and excited when he does

Also I thought Seed's was the most memorable. I just felt like his was the most intense.
Mvp had the best reactions IMO, especially 4th It's so refreshing to see these actually, since the Korean scene is not known for spontaneous outburst of emotions or electrifying interviews.
Fruitdealer is still my favorite win because, at the time he was going through a hard time ( his father was sick, and he was really poor etc) and it meant so much to him you can see it on his face. He really deserved the break.

That's exactly why, they're teammates and friends. It might seem inappropriate from our perspective, but rubbing it in to a friend from that perspective is perfectly fine.
Love the MVP wins. It's all the joy of winning... and then again and again and again. Would be amazing to see if he just explodes in a ball of pure happiness if he gets a fifth win.
(Although, if you go outside GSL, the win where MC just gets out of his booth, walks over, and grabs the trophy immediately is pretty Boss.)
I would vote for the MMA DRG Blizzard Cup finals, but now it's a mixture of pain to watch that. Mvp and Life have the happy baller smiles, and MMA is real cute in the baseball cap.
