Even though three out of four chords are in major, the entire progression sounds more like minor to me, hinting to a minor tonic. On the other hand, III and VII are rarely used degrees so my interpretation using the minor chord as tonic is also a bit complicated. However, viewed as vi-IV-I-V I don't perceive I as point of rest (even though IV-I should be a more or less acceptable cadence.) | ||
