Congrats to everyone who will be playing in the finals. Good luck to everyone, I wish I could just take you all in right now. Hopefully those who don't make this final step will stick around until I can give them a slot. Akilon Wastes 2. Bel'Shir Vestige 3. Daybreak 4. Neo Planet S 5. Newkirk Precinct 6. Cloud Kingdom LE 7. Whirlwind LE Map Rules: 1. The existing rules will carry over from the qualifier tournaments. 2. Each match will be a BO3 in the pool play, and the 8 man bracket. 3. Each player (loser) will get 1 map veto per match. 4. The starting maps for pool play may not be veto'd. Final 8 Man Bracket: Saturday 4/20 8PM EST + Show Spoiler + 1. Please let me know if you have a schedule conflict for this time. I know WCS qualifiers start this day for NA, but they should be earlier in the day. I couldn't find a time posted anywhere for when they start. I assume we'll know this friday the 12th. 2. The starting maps will be posted with the bracket Thursday night of next week. They will be similar to the qualifiers: Ro. 1 - Daybreak. Ro. 2 - Akilon. Ro. 3 - Cloud. Ro. 4 - Bel'Shire. Etc 3. The 1st placers from their groups will be seeded into the winner's bracket of the finals (double elimination). If you win 1 match in the winner's bracket, you make top 4. If you lose your first match, you drop to loser's bracket and have 1 more shot. 4. The 2nd placers from their groups will be seeded into the loser's bracket of the finals (single elimination). If you lose your first match, you are out. If you win your first match and can win your second match, you will make top 4. 5. The players who make top 4 GUARANTEE themselves a roster slot into the Academy. 6. The final 4 slots will be filled by staff picks which will be made from the remaining 12 players who made it into the "Recruitment Finals." (The pool play, and the 8 man bracket) Other Details: 1. I am working on getting this stuff cast. I wanted to have everything cast but the unfortunate turn out of schedule conflicts and trying to get this all finalized as quickly as possible may not lend itself to that. 2. The final 8 man bracket will definitely be cast. I will try and have the rest covered as well to some fashion. The Final Roster: 1. The top 4 placers in the 8 man final bracket will make the official Academy roster. 2. The other 4 slots will be chosen by staff from the remaining 12 players who advanced to these recruitment finals. Community Team: Our website should be up on the 14th. If that goes as planned I will have finalized 'foundation' information out following the final's tournament on Saturday 4/20. Stay tuned for that. I believe that is everything. And it just says impress what are you specifically looking for? I don't fully understand your question. But the finals are a closed tournament. The top 4 who place 1st-4th will make the final Academy roster. The other 4 'staff picks' will be made from the remaining 12 players from this 16 man pool play, and 8 man finals bracket. So hopefully that answers your question. | ||

Very eager to get to Thursday so we can find out the last 4 players to move on to THE final stage! The pool play from this week will be cast this coming Saturday 4/20 at 8PM EST. | ||
