So excited to see TaeJa back in Proleague
|
Well Stephano is screwed this week D;
the rest look very doable for EG-TL
|
Jaedong gets 2 zvp's and he shall win both gogo jaedong :D
|
Why isn't STX fielding hyvaa or Classic?
|
Who's Bear and Comet? New stars of STX Soul? xD
Also very excited to see Taeja back in action. Gogo EG-TL

Return of Taeja! Exciting!

Why is Stats called Carno now?! What is this?!

Just realized Wookie changed his name again, guess "covered in blood" wasn't good enough

And a 4-1 vs KT, gogogo CJ <3 :D

hm, matchups are a bit eh for me. shall think about trades

Not bother with trading cause I know I will be cursed switching anyone out, cept reality will keep making me points for some odd reason. worth trading trap for reality though!

The amount of PvP is insane
|
|
I just need Rain and Shine to stop winning. Looks like a possible thing this time.

Kespa needs to send out a memo to all the pro players that id changes should only be allowed if they are godzilla themed names.
|
No Stats you cannot change your name
|
The fuck is up with all the name changes. Wooki changed his name again, and Stats changed hsi name to something weird as well...Ah well I'm glad to see Taeja back- the team really has needed him.

The only disappointment is HuK still not getting a shot. PuMa the human punching bag gets sent out game after game to get pummelled; HuK on the other hand shows game against good Koreans including Kespa players in the U&D but can't get a look in. He could play a team sniper at least....
PS shit Stephano better get crackin on his zvz

|
1. No Bisu 2. Seriously, someone should really tell Koreans how foolish it is to change their IDs.
|
With the return of Team Taeja my faith in EG-TL is restored, for now.
And with all the stupid rules Kespa has I don't see why they couldn't introduce a rule concerning name changes. One year cooldown on it or paid name change etc.
|
|
Rain and sOs both have two PvPs against strong Protosses coming up. Both would be possible anti-trades. But I´m so scared...
|
Bear, Comet, Aria HWAITING!!!
|
Good to see Taeja back in the game! Sick lineup for EGTL. Also, where is MajOr???
|
Now that is a line up from EG-TL this time!

What is with people and changing name jeeze. Funniest part is they all play under the same name(team name) for Proleague. Need to just stick with original names lol

Those lineups... just aren't fair. My main team players are playing against: -Bong, Jaedong, Action, Stats, ZerO, HerO, Stephano, herO and P7GAB
While my anti team players are up against: -s2, Best, Bear, soO, Comet and Dear

That'd imply ThorZaIN can't win, even though he did win a match vs Classic.
Just give him a chance and vary the lineup a bit i'd say. He's not in Korea for nothing :/

There are some realy cool zvz's there. Effort vs Stephano, Action vs Soulkey, Stephano vs Soulkey and Effort vs Action. Also Rain va Jangbi and Fantasy vs Roro should be good.

So Stephano with two ZvZs. One of them against Effort who looks best in mirror matchup and the other Soulkey who sure can handle muta wars. Its gonna be a tough week for him.

everything possible, Stephano can 2-0, he can also get 0-2'ed

Carno and Zest, wtf. And Stephano gonna get mauled lol.

Seriously. Thankfully he doesn't have good matchups, so I won't feel so bad trading him. (for Dear)
Also gonna trade Light for Wooki since he's only in the lineup once. Wanted to trade SoO for Fantasy, but Fantasy's matchups are once again awful, so I'll hold off on that. Would have like to trade for Taeja, but he's still more valuable than everyone on my roster except Innovation.

Why the hell did Wooki change his name again. Sigh, that doesn't help me getting to know the Kespa Koreans more.

Do EG-TL just want him to make a lot of progress ? or is it something else ? Very good point. I'm sure before the lineups were announced, CJ told EGTL that they would be playing Effort on Akilon Flats, and Woongjin coincidentally told EGTL the truth that they would play Soulkey on Neo Planet S. So Hwanni deliberately forced Stephano into two ZvZs, despite his terrified cries of "No zerg vs zerg! Please!" just so he'll have no choice but to improve his performance in that matchup. I'm sure* that's what happened.
*The only other explanation is that PL lineups are submitted blind like they have in every other season, and Stephano just got an unlucky draw, but that explanation seems too obvious.

While I agree with you that obviously EGTL have no clue who they're facing, there is something to be said nedding to be able to win mirror matchups in the proleague. This has always been a key aspect of any top PL player in the past. If you can't win mirrors, you can't be sent out to maps that are favorable for your race. And that messes things up considerably. It's much worse for Stephano to be bad at ZvZ than he is at ZvT/P.

What a shame for EGTL. All these confirmed players used to CodeS/A who loose non stop against players who did not qualify for CodeA and played 10 times less games than them. They are so lame and such a disapointment. I was hoping the first foreigner team would be able, not to win but at least to create a hipe in Corea and impress them to bring a bit more the Corean public back to the SC2 scene. But they just chain lamer and lamer performance. Do they at least give a fuck of the biggest esport competition of all times???
