In the round of 32 there are only 2 "choices" and they go to the previous season's finalists. Sniper was 1st so he gets 1st pick. HyuN was second so he gets 2nd pick. The players are broken into 4 tiers (1st tier previous season top 8, tier 2 8 highest GSL points, tier 3 next 8 in GSL points, tier 4 bottom 8 in GSL points). The 2 previous finalists can choose a tier 4 player only. Then the rest of the groups are randomly selected with 1 player from each tier so that the first games are Tier 1 vs Tier 4 and Tier 2 vs Tier 3.

HuK picked into a group with the best vP in the world, and 3 of the top 11 vPs, all of whom are playing really well lately(although for Bomber that means a massive fall is imminent =p)... there's unfortunate and then there's that.

so many people to doubt MVP, i recall the last season counted him out... there are some epic finals possible but i hope MVP or another terran wins it (MVP for G5L throphy)

Yea but hes also been injured for so long now and hasn't taken off time to recover. So I think most people are skeptical for this reason and are rightly so justified. If he was in as much pain as it sounded like he was during last season I can't imagine its any better this season.

Really stacked and a good choice of players for the last ever SC2 season.
Even if I would have liked some KeSPA guys not to be there instead of deserving players.

Good that Taeja got a pretty late group so he can fully recoup from his treatment.

Honestly I think group D is a lot stronger than a number of the other groups, can't see why it's got the least votes. But then again I don't really follow the pro scene as much as everyone else [image loading]
