The esF teams don't really have the stability in terms of sponsorships, except for maybe LG-IM, and Parting realizes this. He's an amazing player and knows that foreign and kespa and esF teams would be happy to pick him up. However, the two biggest foreign teams, team liquid and EG, probably weren't going to be bidding on him. Team Liquid wants to pick up players and have them perform their best in the team and EG has been picking up quite a few players recently. The Kespa teams allow Parting for continual stability in the sport and was, honestly, probably the smartest decision he could have made. I just hope he finds the right team. Congratulations to PartinG! StarTale seems pretty stable with Red Bull.

I wasn't trying to say it's bad, just that many people are not familiar with that system. Ah ok. So both of us left football because of imba imba imba :D

For example if KT and T8 bid for him, then why don't let PartinG decide where he goes ? Why is that random draw needed ? Offcourse kespa cares. Thats why he already have a deal on his salary. After that, kespa will care for the balance of teams.

There are rules regarding the draft where if you have been a professional player for a period of time you automatically become a free agent. The fact that he can't be a free agent here is pretty BS imo ![]()

Seems silly to have a predictions/poll when it could come down to a random draw between competing teams. But me, I'm hoping for Samsung Khan.

After they finished their first contract (3-4 years), they are restricted free agents and as long as their current team can match the offers from other teams, they can retain the players. Only after a players 2nd contract are they actually unrestricted free agents. So NBA players are actually restricted for 1/2 of their careers. And since PartinG is a new player for Kespa, he is being put into the draft. I think for Kespa, they also have some rules regarding player switching teams once their contracts runs out. There is a signing period for these players for other teams. This is done so that there is more of a level playing field. They don't want PartinG, Life, Mvp, Leenock to all join the game team.

If Red Bull determines ESPORTS is not worth it for them anymore, that they can get a greater return at another team, or the people responsible for the sponsorship leaves, then Startale is pretty much fucked, and none of these options are very far fetched. The reason someone like EG is stable is that even if Monster stopped their sponsorship, then they would still have Raidcall, Kingston and a ton of other sponsors. It might hurt a bit, but it wouldn't bring about major changes in the team structure. And even if they found themselves in a bad situation they have shown themselves capable of representing their sponsors well and finding new sponsors. The same to some extent applies to Liquid with their Razer, Twitch, Barracuda and TLAF sponsorships, and in any case they have a huge advantage in this site and their massive popularity which means that they should be able to attract sponsors fairly easily. As for the people saying TL/EG Parting, are you completely ignoring the fact that neither TL nor EG or they proleague entity are part of KeSPA? You might as well predict col.Parting. I personally see SKT1 as the most likely destination. KT is pretty saturated with talents these days so while I like them I don't hope they get Parting as it would just make Proleague too easy for KT.
