Well, they have a good centrepiece guy who's reliable and really good at the game (FlaSh).
They also have a strong support crew of #2 and #3's that always seem to pull it together when they make play-offs and become kinda scary. Back in BW they had HoeJJa, Action, and a couple of other random T and P players that just seemed to grow BADASSERY overnight magically.
If KT makes it to the play-offs they'll have a strong chance of winning, also their biggest rivals, SKTT1 doesn't have Bisu where he was in BW, and I don't know much about BeSt's ability to play compared to his old SPL performances.

Exactly. So their lineup is still pretty strong even though everyone always focuses on Flash. It makes sense because of his BWGSL, WCG, 3MSL and 3OSL wins but his supporting crew is solid as well and even more clutch the more important the game becomes.

Well the final BW season was basically FlaSh stomps everyone, Stats probably stomps everyone and then whether or not anyone else can manage to take a set determines if KT wins or not. This time around it's a lot less of a nail-biter. Sure, FlaSh hasn't yet returned to his 15 M-M-MONSTER KILL form but everyone else has taken it up a notch.

KT has always been the underdog,paid mercenaries to bring the meat home , also criticized by many as a team which buy better players and for them to loose their ability to win anymore once under KT Rolster flag aka forgg,luxury (all starleague winners ) . Despite them I think it's been a long way since the lost of Violet , I know he would have been a great player in sc2 and with his positive attitude he brought to each game and unique play style in which he could have taken down any S class player given the correct timing and situation . He is the best player in KT and next to Flash, we couldn't have won proleague 2010 without KT.Violet .
I don't care if we paid money to buy our players, I was from the new generation of KT Rolster not when it's in Reach,Yellow, Nal_Ra,Sync era. I rooted for the guys who preferably call by another KT as thrash can but what can I say we trash can are pretty good and we are going to come after you .

During this all-kill format phase of the league, KT is showing how deep of a team they really are. They really do seem to thrive as a team under this format, but we'll have to see whether their all-kill format success is a precursor to the outcome of this season. It very well may be, but I prefer to think that SK-T1 are still in it to win it as much as KT.

Anyone who expected KT to be straight up bad this season was ridiculous imo. I couldn't believe they were ranked 8th out of 8 by that preseason SPL article. Sure the KT bench didn't get through prelims or do much of note in SC2 but tbh even in BW, sans Luxury, no member of KT did too well in individuals results wise. I think ForGG's ro4 run in OSL was the best result by a KT player in the "modern KT era." Violet despite beasting for KT in PL after that game against Bisu on Medusa didn't get past a ro16. Stats, Lux and ForGG also got ro8's at some point.
Anyways I'm just saying KT has proven intangibles in PL and usually do better than they look to do on paper. Hybrid season excluded haha.
That said, I don't think anyone expected KT to be doing this well.

Because it was BW back then and people knew that it wasn't just make a 'big thread' with shitty context, also the fanclub threads is really bad compare to BW fanclubs.
