With Liquid, Polt can stay in form and not rust like he would in EG, and he'd be the perfect candidate to represent Liquid in foreign events while the rest of Liquid+T8.Jaedong are carrying the burden of the so-called "Unholy Alliance" in Proleague. Polt is a handsome debonair, not a frat kid. Either way, it's great to hear that he won't stop playing.

TSL is dead imho with this move =( Coach lee said previously he only continued TSL because a promise he made to Polt. I've also heard Symbol/Hyun having talks with foreign teams RIP TSL

Now he can make more money, master the English language even better, gain more popularity, and could even focus even more on studies and still be highly competitive. It is good for NA as well. It's actually not good for NA at all, do you have any idea how hard it is to go from nothing to a successful pro gamer in NA? All the MLG's are filled with Koreans, all the NASL's are filled with Koreans, all the IPL's are filled with even more Koreans. There are no events that aren't extremely extremely difficult to win. In EU, the Koreans don't travel there as much and you actually have a shot at winning something like a dreamhack, homestory cup, or IEM. The smallest NA LAN I can think of in the last year was http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/GIGABYTE_ESPORTS_LAN_Invitational and it was dominated by Koreans too America is their playground, they take 90%+ of the money from every premier event. Now that Polt is moving to NA, he can play in NA qualifiers for events like MLG or IPL. Previously he had to fight the entirety of Code A and S for spots in those tournaments, now he gets to prey on weaker NA gamers and get easy spots. If enough good Korean pro gamers move to NA you will never see a real NA player in a premier tournament ever again. And no they aren't going to restrict access to polt from playing in NA qualifiers, technically he is NA and it would be unfair to make him play with lag on KR to qualify. Golden and Sleep played NA qualifiers.

I would liked it more if he would just retire, so we could have the great Polt in memory and we don´t have to suffer with him when he loses games he would have won before.

I remember reading about him taking time off but not entirely sure. Pretty sure I'm not confusing him with NaDa. They both took time off from school

Well he's been doing ok so far studying in korean while playing... Also Life is in school still and he's doing really well... Stop being no negative and actually do some research on him next time instead of making such a stupid statement. Polt was studying at the best school in South Korea and yet still practiced and played SC2.....

Maybe you are the one who needs to do the research
