Correction: Daily ESPORTS mistakenly reported earlier that Jaedong would return to Team Eight immediately should they find a sponsor. This was a misunderstanding; Jaedong's 1 year period with EG is binding. | ||

It's all about marketing for your sponsors, even if you don't win anything, if you can generate the market (like Destiny did), then the company doesn't care whether you win or lose. Retention is one of the highest expenses for a company, but flooding the gates with more customers means you'll hopefully be able to retain a bit more than you lose, and this is an easy, cheap way of doing so (compared to retention) for EG's sponsors. This is the reason you sponsor teams. | ||

Then we'll have some fireworks!  I will wait for team 8 to comment to confirm or deny the existence of such clause. | ||
