What are your thoughts on defeating MVP and making it to the winners' match?
Curious: I don't feel much at all. Now that our team has earned second place so often, I don't think winning is anything special unless we take the tournament. More than thinking about this match, I feel a desire to win the tournament this time.
Life: I don't know what's so good about making it to the winners' match. I still feel groggy.
During your match against KeeN, you won even after losing nearly 100 Drones.
Curious: To be honest, I made many mistakes. I was so flustered that I don't even know how I won. However, I think that maintaining a calm read on the situation and keeping an eye out for weak spots was what worked for me. If I knew that I had lost so many Drones, I would have left more quickly. But I didn't know that, so I kept my focus on the game, and the only thought that I had in my head was that I had to recover from my disadvantage. However, I made a lot of mistakes due to my nervousness.
You defeated TAiLS with some dazzling multitasking, but lost in an upset by KeeN.
Life: I thought that it was a match that I couldn't lose, but I sent out my entire army after mistakenly believing that my opponent had gone all-in, then lost my Greater Spire to a drop. I think the situation turned around after I threw away my forces in the middle of the map.
Some see your excessive confidence as a weakness during battle.
Life: I made a huge error this time. Normally, I don't make awkward engagements like that. But I don't have anything that I can say about today's mistake.
Did you know that fans call you the Code S Reader? [T/N: Curious is nicknamed the "Code S Reader" because he appears to act as a litmus test in the GSL, determining whether a player is worthy of competing in Code S by either beating him or losing to him]
Curious: It really makes me sick (laughs). During the next GSL, I need to advance higher. In my opinion, there are several players besides me who could be called Code S Readers. Now, I want to transfer my title to them.
Fans are enjoying screenshots [of you] in the GSL. Have you seen them?
Life: They're just amusing. As long as the fans are enjoying them, they don't matter to me personally. I first learned of them when my coach uploaded some of the pictures to Twitter.
In the winners' round, you will face LG-IM. What are your predictions?
Curious: This is our first big match in a long time. In my opinion, all of LG-IM's best team league players are either Code A or B. Since I am the Code S Reader, I will not lose to them (laughs). LG-IM rose up through two all-kills by YongHwa, but that won't happen this time.
Life: We will just have to win. Winning this GSTL is our priority.
Recently, it appears that Zergs have been struggling against Terrans as if the effects of the Queen patch have dissipated. What do you think about this?
Curious: People like me had already found solutions [for ZvT] beforehand. It is true that the Queen patch made our games more comfortable to play. I think the situation began to change because people grew too complacent. You need to use a variety of styles, but people became too dependent on the Queen. Personally, I don't think mass Queen builds are that good, but people are stubbornly sticking to them and having a hard time.
Life: When the Queen patch first came out, I was ecstatic. At the time, I used [mass Queens] because they seemed unbeatable, but Terrans have adapted too well, so Queens aren't so useful anymore.
Curious: In the end, Terrans have coped quite well. Now, I think it's time for Zergs to adapt a bit.
When do you think that StarTale will break the second-place jinx?
Curious: I want to break the curse by the end of the year, but I don't know whether that's possible. This year, we have one GSTL and one GSL left. It would be good if Life broke the curse for us, but if he isn't able to do it, it will be difficult for us. I wouldn't know too well because I haven't been able to go to a final, but our players seem to mysteriously weaken whenever they reach the finals.
Life: As long as I can make it to the finals, I think I can do it, since the players on the other side of the bracket are easy to beat. But before that, I will have to break through the Round of 4.
For the third round of Code A, you will face the winner of the match between Flash and Mini. Are you confident that you will make it back into Code S?
Curious: I will return straight to Code S. In my mind, I have read that these players are both Code A. Therefore, I will advance.
Next week, you will go up against TaeJa for a spot in the finals. What would you say are your odds of winning?
Life: I think I am 90% likely to win. Nowadays, as long as I don't make mistakes, I almost never lose. If I don't make an error as I did today, I think I will be able to win handily.
Please tell us any last words that you may have.
Curious: We want to break the jinx and secure a victory this time, before we reach ten second-place finishes.
Life: I would like to thank our team's sponsors, BenQ, Red Bull, Joy Gear, and Zowie Gear.

sup mvp/rain
That quote and this one:

lol, I like Life so much, I wish I was as confident in him winning as he seems to be.
Did you know that fans call you the [Code S] Reader?
What does this mean?
I presume like a litmus test for any new to code S players. He would either beat them and they would fall to code A because they're not good enough, or he'd lose to them and they'd excel in code S.

I agree that Life will crush either Mvp or Rain but Taeja is going to be a challenge. Taeja seems to be much more adept at defending aggression then a lot of the Terrans Life has played. Does anyone know the map pool? If Taeja gets Metropolis, Antiga and Ohana then I don't think Life has too much of a chance sadly.

He has, and has decided that they are unworthy! Honestly, I think he can beat both of them if he can beat Taeja, who is probably the hardest player to beat left in the GSL.

For the sake of Esports, I certainly hope not.
why? Who is Ma Jae Yoon?
Maybe you have heard the name of SaviOr? Either way, he's one of the best BW zergs ever and with him BW won and lost reputation, depending on the time you look at. His career ended in a bad way, see the match fixing scandal on Liquipedia. I will remember him as a good player, no matter what he did, but what he did was pretty bad and it's okay for me that he didn't get a 2nd chance.
On topic: Crazy Life, but i think he's not all wrong with his statements. I bet he's the ladder Zerg which Rain is afraid of.
I like Life because I think it's so funny how he is always emotionless for the most part like "I don't know what's so good about making it to the winners' match. I still feel groggy." Lol! He has so much confidence! I hope he's able to take this season of GSL.

I think it works both ways. Taeja could get punished. Or Life can get over eager and just keeps attack when he has a slight lead (like in the Keen game). And Taeja's micro is one of the best and will be able to trade cost effectively even with a slightly inferior army. It is going to come down to critical decision making at key points (most Ro4s are since all the players are so good).

Taeja vs Life is dead even for me.
Problem is there is no favorite in Ro4 since players are so fucking good. Best matches also tend to come out of semi-finals.
Sun is looking so unbeatable in PvT and i will give him a very slight edge over MVP but MVP is MVP and the guy just know how to win games with wrist and neck injuries.lol

Mvp blows my mind. Every time I think he's out of the running, he somehow wins even halfway crippled. It's ridiculous.
But maybe this time because I think he'll win, he'll show me up by losing. -_-;
