He's not engaging, he's not fun, he's not good at giving the sponsors publicity, he doesn't stream... There's no upside for them. | ||

This is like the only gsl (aside from perhaps season 1 of 2012) where there are stacked groups WITH sick distribution as well to ensure quality games in later rounds. A few groups are especially stacked like E, C, and A (minus Line) but every group has great players that can advance and make things interesting still. You know it's good when you can't decide the group of death. Someone said it before but it's more like the gsl of death this season. | ||

They categorize the players into 4 tiers based on points and put one of each tier randomly in each group (except winner and runner-up of last season being able to hand-pick their tier 4 oponent). | ||
