Wow they split them up into different days.
Does anyone know if it will be best of 1 or best of 3?

Which makes me scratch my head. Bo1 doesn't work very-well in Sc2 IMHO

Yes, that is why OSLs takes much longer. They are Bo1 and everyone gets to play everyone else in the group( round robin). If they need tiebreakers, that will take place one week after these games are done.
It is the ultimate preparation match. 1 week 1 opponent 1 map.

I can be into this. What are they streaming on and who are the caster(braces for sadness)?

OGN is on LIVE television

I like that there is one match of each group on each day, as opposed to having a marathon day playing out the whole group. It's easier on the players, and makes it really exciting for the viewers. GSL should definitely copy that. But they should do Bo3 instead of Bo1, allows for mind games and prevents the inevitable cheese fest that Bo1s tend to be. Hyped for this! Want to see more of the Kespa players.

We have to remember that OSL is different from GSL. The break between games are much longer and we get interviews, replays of the match, etc. Although, sc2 games are generally shorter, I don't think they could fit 4 Bo3 in their broadcast schedule. From what I know, the GSL schedule is much more flexible in this regard.

I am not sure about that. Cheese in Bo1 is very risky and usual done when a player feel really inferior to their opponent. But at OSL Ro16 level, I don't think you will see too many straight up cheese. Strong timings and all-ins? Yes. Cheeses, probably not.
In BoX, the better player might be inclining to cheese because there is a chance for him to win outright. And if he loses, he feels he can win the next set of standard games.

But I feel that Sc2 series needs to be at least Bo3 in individual series, Bo1 feels like ice hockey where only one 20-minute period is played

Even though it's Bo1 you can still potentially make it out of the group with a score as low as 1-2 (going 2-0 in tiebreakers) so I'm not too worried.

Doa is the only caster I know of on ogn, they roped in torch and moletrap from LoL for the tyving OSL finals english stream so maybe them as well. I just always watch the Korean stream though, I find it heresy to watch the OSL in English.

My girlfriend would not enjoy me watching it on the TV with untranslated Korean going. It would be a bad choice for everyone. The best part about the matches is that it is only four games. No 5 hours of matches daily to watch.

Well, a Bo5 would be even better... But there are always limitations to tournaments. I mean, I would like MLGs games to More spaced out so players are more well rested. But it is a weekend tournament, what can you do? It is the same case here. They are following a live broadcasting schedule.

So this is my first post.... I'm a long time fan of Nukethestars channel, and now that Korea Brood War is done (or at least his channel) any advice on where to turn? Any good SC2 commentators? I have no idea what I'm doing now but I want some SC!

This is the best defense I have seen for the bo1 system. With a week of preparation per game means they should be able to show the best ability they can vs that player on that map with their current skill level.

Ah well it depends on what you like. If there's anything I've learned from LR threads it's that everyone has different likes and dislikes for casting.
I'd recommend you check out the teamliquid youtube which has all the TSL4 vods with a small variety of casters. You might find someone you like in there. I don't have a great list since I only watch a select few leagues and don't have time for a lot of channels of sc2.

Question is more like who is cocasting with Doa and i really hope it's not moletrap.
On groups: Looking forward to Day1 the most, epic matches incoming!
