He is still in the GSL he will play his Up & Down matches just like Ganzi. They only forfeited their Code A run this season but still in the Up & Down. Think about it this is a great time to do this since usually GSL season starts right after the other one finishes but this time they are taking a break because of WCS.
If anything this is a great move by ForGG, it allows him to go to foreigner tournaments, hopefully win and make some money and more fans, all while still in the run to be in Code S for GSL season 4 which if you ask me isnt bad at all.
