![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/rxUnB.jpg) The Collegiate Starleague is looking for a few talented casters to aid in our stream plans for the upcoming CSL Season. As much as we love conscripting shindigs and hazelynut into casting we recognize a need for official casters for the CSL. This would include but would not be limited to: casting CSL Season 6 matches, highlighting some of the previous weeks matches, and casting special events such as showmatches. We encourage anyone with casting experience to record a cast of a CSL game and submit their application as soon as possible!! Replays can be found on the site on the schedule page (for example http://www.cstarleague.com/league/schedule?r=13)Application linkThis is a great opportunity to get experience casting for an established league and get your name out there! Come join our family here at the CSL as we move into Season 6 and a bigger and better future
About the CSL: The Collegiate Starleague is the premiere collegiate gaming league, with over 300 universities participating this year. The CSL is sponsored by Twitch.tv and Raidcall! In addition to the league, we run contests, tournaments, and work with universities to host and promote LAN events across North America. check out www.cstarleague.com for more info!

Does the job come with a congratulatory hotel lamp? That's a make or break deal for me.

The job link isn't working. When I click it, it brings up a "page cannot be found" on the CSL site.
edit: haha its because the exclamation points were included in the link, once I removed them from the URL the link worked fine. I'll be submitting my app a little later today hopefully. :D

Ooo, casting!! Me like very much :D

Hit up Brad "Chosen" Erickson. He was the leader for NMx and now does some work for xSix I believe.

Does Berkley have a gaming house? Would be insane if the college actively picked up/support pros (tell me so I can apply )

Berkeley does have CSL house. Are you a student?

Yes, the CSL player students at Berkeley found a house to rent together and have started to live there together. It is not supported financially by the college, I doubt that will ever be a possibility for a long time

Applying for colleges this fall. But I live in Ohio, so unless got nearly full ride, would be too much $$ with plane tickets (but believe me, I would LOVE to be in Cali )

Hazelydigs (Shinnuts?) casting duo better keep going regardless though!
|
I don't have a SC2 resume -- do you just want my ordinary job app. resume? It's going to be pretty irrelevant to Starcraft.
|
Any idea when applicants will be contacted / when decision will be made?

I 100% support Shinnuts.

I would also like to know, even if my application was denied. Been checking around to see all evening. Haha

Any chance you'll still be able to take applications as late as this friday (7/27)? What with work and summer school, I'd really like to try pull the time together to get something passable as far as casts go! I'm also planning on applying as a writer on your job site, but once again, won't have time until this friday!

If I lived in America I would do it but the UK is my home. For now

NP, Monday was just the first batch review day, encompassing submissions up to that point. There will be, at the minimum, 1 if not more in the future before the season starts, so you are fine.
|
I plan on submitting a replay today. Hopefully I get it in soon enough for the first batch.

When are the broadcast times?
I see in the posting Casters must commit to a weekly time slot, but there's no indication of when those slots are.
Thanks.
|
Best of luck to everyone who applies!
I wish I could apply but since this is my last semester at college i'm trying to cut back on some of my casting projects TT___TT

Times will be decided soon, as we are finishing the last parts of the format for the season

I've started actually casting, and I'm really enjoying, lol. Even if I don't get the gig, i might just continue to cast on my own, anyways, haha. Give me a few days to actually do a good cast instead of learning on the fly, and I'll shoot over that application! Is there any deadline associated with this application? Is it still even open?
