Hello everyone! This summer team FXOpen eSports has some major announcements concerning our team roster and team organization. And here goes the first one!
Today we can officially announce that Jon "BabyKnight" Andersen becomes part of FXOpen Europe. Yes, that's right! By that we can finally get rid of the weird "CIS" tag which was following our team for years.
We've been looking into BabyKnight's performance since the end of May, and his recent results speak for themselves. In the last few weeks he qualified for TSL 4 tournament, got a slot in WCS Denmark finals, and today when all arrangements for the transfer were made, FXO.BabyK qualified for ASUS ROG Summer 2012!

congratz! BabyKnight is one of my favorite players and he is for sure one of the best Protoss players in Europe rightnow dominating European GM like a baws :D
hope he never stops playing with 4:3 resolution so I have no reason to stop aswell! xD

I have to ask too, can someone from FXOpen e-Sports, Absolute Legends, or BabyKnight himself explain why Absolute Legends claimed four days ago that BabyKnight had renewed his contract with them? Did aL made a too early announcement, or did BabyK actually had a contract with them and broke it to join FXOpen?

Sickest pick-up in a long time for FXO, probably one of the most talented players in the world, and certainly in his town, and out there. He does indeed have a baby face, but make no mistake, he's actually a really fearsome baby. His little arms know how to throw forcefields and blink stalkers (blink as a verb, I'm not implying that he can throw stalkers with his tiny little hands lool).
You would give him milk, but he will give you real pain (was going for a rhyme, didn't find it). Well you can still give him milk, he'll drink it, he's a kind baby
Good luck in Korea and GSL maybe? I sure hope so.

FXO barely ever pick up known players. They pick up people they see potential in and then they train them. Tear and Whale was picked up a while ago and they are now showing what they can do. This also brings new pros to the scene. Grats to FXO, Babyknight is one of the better Europeans for sure.

There have been a rumor that FXO.CIS is going to be disbanded, but since they signing new players that have to be false info. Happy for BabyKnight though. Following him since he played in Na'Vi.

On the same day as AL made that statement, BabyKnight tweeted that he had "found a new home (read: home=team) :X", so I guess he didn't feel the same way.
Would be interesting to know what happened, but I highly doubt he broke a contract.

Something odd definitely going on with Absolute Legends as another player listed in the linked announcement, DeathAngel, just tweeted today that he needs a new team.
Bit similar to how there was a full interview and a news item about how HongUn was going to play in Code A for AL a few days before the match but then suddenly he was out of the team already.

This is one of my favourite things about the TSL, seeing the lesser known players getting the recognition (and teams) they deserve! TSL3 it was Thorzain leaving Prae and joining Mouz, now we've got Babyknight joining FXO. All the best to both parties, Babyknight is definitely the underdog I'm supporting this TSL

It was exciting to see a barrage of good results by a player I didn't know before. Near home runs one qualifier than another.

Makes Absolute Legends looks suspicious as fuck. Especially when the DeathAngel tweet about searching for a new team is added to the equation. Good luck to BabyKnight with FXO though, they seem like one of the most trustworthy teams we have.

BabyKnight is actually a really really good player... Sadly his stream doesn't get a ton of viewers. If people gave it a shot you'd see a fun style of play. He is like a little Danish version of White-Ra :D

I am sorry, he's not really involved in the European scene too much, that's the reason I forgot him. But to be honest I can't really say how good he is. I watched a ton of replays and played myself vs all the other Scandinavian players I named but I have no idea about Targa. Still Norway is behind the other Scandinavian countries imo.

I've watched them both a ton, and also watched them play each other a ton. There are many things they both do that are VERY similar, so granted you are entitled to your opinion, as am I, but I stand by my "like a little danish White-Ra". :D

Heads up Welmu > BabyK > Elfi at Copenhagen games, but it should be quite close between those three.

I would like that to be true, but sadly it is not. We may be slightly stronger, but it's not much and Finland is definately stronger than Denmark.
