Let's keep it real here. The main reason for all this is because shes transgender, a girl. This has nothing to do with her showing good results at one tournament because there has been many unknown players who have done decent and they dont get the same exposure. Not trying to bash on Scarlett congrats to her but let's not pretend here.

I mean if you got a Zerg killer on your team then it's basically over. GL HF!
lolz I don't think there is such a thing anymore.

"Scarlett has also won two NESL Iron Lady cups"
O_O what? I thought only girls could compete in that. It's kind of weird someone who is transgender would be allowed to participate in a all girl's tournament. I mean besides them thinking like a girl, genetically(Hello, XY) they are guys -_-, it's pretty much a guy who thinks he is a girl. I wonder how the other girls who participated in NESL thought of this
Not a bait, just curious

Of course she would get an offer, i am not trying to say she is a bad player. You just can't honestly sit there and tell me any other unknown guy would get the same exposure as her because she is transgender. It's so bad people overhype her because of it when she didnt even win the tournament and beat 2 sub par Koreans, act like shes in GSL code S. Speaking of code S, Genius was in a GSL final and he is still team less. Again, i am not trying to hate on Scarlett congrats to her and getting in a team.

oh, and newsflash, she was transgender before the tourney, she had participated in tourneys before this one. she didnt ride the transgender train into a team position. she worked hard, she did well at a big tourney and she got exposure because of her talent. dont belittle her accomplishments by saying "The main reason for all this is because shes transgender, a girl."

"Not enough Zerg presence"? lol All zergs except for one terran xD

I thought its a undeniable fact that she got so much attention because she is transgender? There is always unknown players who put good results in tournaments but you never see them get even 1/4 of the attention she got.
Anyhow its not her fault because people are genuinely stupid. Lots of people get a ton of attention for all the wrong reasons..

If DarkHydra hasn't the best TvZ skills in the world, he is doing something wrong
Grats to Acer, she is a very good addition to the team!

Congratulations to both, very exciting!

Can't believe this "need more zerg" joke caused such commotion, seriously ><

Afaik Nerchio is satisfied with being semi-pro and don't plan to go full time. If he was planning to go to Korea, he would have to do it right now and make use of his holidays, because he's studying.

lol. He got recruited not for his skill but because he has a following as the first open transgender whose notably beat some pros.
O well, I'm not saying Scar isn't a good player. He could improve to be one of the main euros at some point but lets not pretend we don't know why they recruited him.
I've also always wondered about the technicalities of having Scarlett participate in Female only tournies. Although I've also wondered why there are female only tournies, once we get rid of them and beckon the female gamers to take part in all of the big offline/online tournies then we can count it as an extra step towards professionalism.

This is why I can't stand people claiming reverse discrimination. Nothing gets as discriminatory as dismissing someone's achivements as being obtained just because of their orientation/race/gender/blahblah.
