Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

I can tell you with 100% certainty that those 2 people are not the same. IMNesTea previous account was Dodecahedron, a merely dia-low master team gamer. GameOfDrone on the other side had a lot of other accounts such as Parasite, SpaceJamz (or something like that) which got banned already.

He probably got the guy to level his account, I have replays vs them from ladder that shows same hotkey usage and apm/eapm

I've known at least 5 people who maphack. I've reported them but guess who logs on every single day as if nothing happens. I'm fully convinced that blizzard simply does not care about hackers. They only care about making money. Kind of sad

well its obvious there are hackers on sc2. Many ppl been talking about it for a long time. I wonder if blizzard is actually taking any steps to get rid of it instead of just banning accounts.

Blizzard cannot take the risk of banning a player based on a single replay/ few in games accusation. I'm sure they do care as the more hackers there is on their game, the worse the company's reputation gets and the less players are enclined to play their game.

It's been discussed that you can do things with maphacks + xsplit to: enlarge your minimap region 100% screen on a second monitor while having it revealed via hack = full screen minimap that is visible. Thus, people can stream and still hack at the same time. It's mind boggling how some just accept a hacker's excuse of, "na man i totally wasn't hacking see, this part where i was staring at my base for 30 seconds was totally not me looking at the revealed minimap."

You are correct about the fact that maphackers don't have to peak threw fog of war to be one, which makes them much harder to pinpoint. The only reason I posted about this one is that for everyone who looks at the replay will be 100% convinced that Impa does in fact maphack, which should make blizzard's job even easier into banning this one.

Maybe it was a maphacker I did hit the other week and didn't recognize it. He 6 pooled on taldarim altar and afterwards it felt like I was playing against a platinum player. Shame if it's going on a lot, don't understand maphackers.

I always thought it was weird when random people proxy 2 gated my main on tal darim. Just assumed they were banking on the 1/3 chance.
