You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.

Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence.

Wow, thank you so much for exposing all of these accounts TT1. I've seen some of these players on team rosters. It's kinda sad to see that they don't know they recruited maphackers.

rofl if sorcery could keep playing with community figures (ie megumibear) despite much replay evidence, admitting that he hacked, playing with other hackers, getting into top 10 1v1, then hide on 2v2 division on another account and not be banned for a year+ then its obvious blizzard AND the community as a whole doesn't care about hack users

IMO its a joke. people sooner label someone as "lucky" rather than using common sense on what is a cheat and what isn't (i lol at this), and when someone is shown to be that they'd say "let blizz handle it" when blizz doesn't care at all

O_O Coming from other games/genres, I can say SC2 has worst anti hack out there
hihihi

There was a thread like that. Blizzard didn't recognize it because they ban people in waves, which IMO isn't the most effective way to deal with such a thing.

Because only 1 replay was kept for each of those people if i remember correctly. I think it would have made a huge difference if, let's say, we kept every single replay about the hackers and sent to blizzard representative in packs for each accused players. As I said above, blizzard cannot ban someone based on a single replay.

Wrong. Do you remember when some people used mh/drophack to get top1 GM? It took a single day for him to get banned. It is based on how obvious the guy makes it/ how much visibility he has, which is exactly what i'm trying to do right here.

blizzard hasn't banned two specific private maphacks ever so it is safe to assume that there will always be many hacker. Public hacks seem to get banned quickly.

Well lets hope these map hackers don`t raid those small online tournaments, that would be pretty lame.

Obviously for the most extreme cases, Blizzard can ban someone willingly. But in most cases, it's a wave-ban.

Blizzards main reason to adding battle.net 2.0 was to reduce the amount of pirated copies and hacks tenfold. So far they have only done the former.

first off there should only be 1 account per IP in Grandmaster league. Secondly, there is so many hackers/boosters in Gm it is getting out of fucking hand. it is really unfair for people trying to make a name for themselves to have to deal with this shit, let alone the pros who need the ladder practice to have to deal with cheaters. Something needs to be done, in due time however i feel. "soon TM blizzard"

my past experiences have turned me into the human maphack detector

Just a quick note that those people that you catch hacking.. they're just stupid kids that can't use couple of buttons.

If a person has at least half a brain functioning, he will never get caught maphacking because current maphacks have A LOT of features to help you with that (i.e. prevent from clicking on units you don't see, lock on camera to own base -> look at fog -> unlock, Warden avoidance), etc etc etc..

i can usually tell if someone's hacking based off of gameplay, i need a pretty big sample tho

the maphacks out there nowadays u dont even have to look at the persons base necisarily. there is a tab for production and units realtime, just like there are in replays. not only that there is a box indictacting where the person is looking at every given time.

Blizzard needs to hire you.

It's funny how when something goes wrong we all blame blizzard and then when someone does something right we tell blizzard to hire them.
