+ Show Spoiler + Hard not to expect this number of players being a problem in the long run though. Sounds like a logistical and managerial nightmare for such a focused and involved team, even if the finances are in place. I hope I'm wrong though, Quantic fighting! ^^

Much of the players on Vile have dropped off the scene, except for a few (Illusion & State are an exception). Currently Spanishiwa is doing a lot more studying than he is playing SC2. Psy hasn't done ANYTHING lately...I didn't even know that he still played, and there are a handful of members that I haven't heard of. There are some break-out talents here, such as dDoRo and HasHe. This seems like a very cool merger, but also very underwhelming. I don't see Naniwa or anyone else getting much better practice or results from this move. A lot of the players on Vile have a lot of potential, considering that many of them are part-time students and did not have the resources to completely work towards becoming better progamers. Many of us hope that Quantic can turn these promising talents into major competitors.

Quantic, adj.: A homogeneous function of two or more variables having rational and irrational coefficients. Mathematical concepts have illusions? What a vile thought....

Don't worry about the large roster size. It seemed like very few or none of the Vile players were salaried. So in most cases, Quantic would just have to pick up the flight/hotel for ex Vile members and would only do that if they felt it was worth it to send the player to a tournament. So what they've picked up is a nice list of talented players for very low cost that they only need to pay out if the player starts to show some results on that talent. Seems like a great move for Quantic. Sad to see the Vile brand die as they were one of the cool up-and-coming NA teams, but the merge seemed necessary. Best of luck to all involved.

That is pretty much how I felt too when I saw this, but it might be because of my own lack of knowledge. Personally I would have liked it more if Quantic just saved the cash and went for a couple of players that are really high caliber instead, but hopefully people here are right that there is a lot of talent in the former Vile roster and that they now get a real chance to practise a lot and reach their potential.
