Former VT and Reign NA GM protoss player Michael  Perfect Thompson has just recently joined xSix gaming after quite a while of inactivity. Dropped off the NA scene pretty much entirely after leaving Reign in early November of last year. He's currently top 16 on NA GM ladder.

Might fill a nice void that was needed in the protoss department for xSix since Shadow has been inactive and I'm not sure how regular their other tosses were being playing in clan wars or in events.

anyone know how his attitude is? he was known as rather haughty/badmanner back in wc3 competitive days, but hoping that his stay in ReIGN really helped out his manner.
anyway, best of luck, good to see he got another team, he's a solid protoss

He was pretty BM when we played him in either the CSL or a random clanwar, but that was quite a while back so who knows.

Not the same. Before i was content to be in HuK and Kiwikaki's shadow playing enough to win online tournaments and stop playing when protoss wasn't winning. This resulted in decent but not great results and the moniker "solid protoss". My goal now is to be the best player a North American can possibly be and become known as the "champion protoss". I hope you give me the chance to show my current mindset and prove that I have the ability to become a first rate player.

This is old news really. As soon as he made GM I saw his name change to xSix. That was on Tuesday.

Lets be honest >.> We were both trying out for teams(not together, but at the same time), and people kept telling you over and over to stop BMing or no team would ever pick you up. After your tryout with It'sGosu, at the time ONE, you didn't BM as much so you could get on a team, that ended up being Reign if I recall at that time.
I have not seen anything recently about BM from you though, so I can't say anything on that, which is a good thing  . The above is as far as I know~

The "problem" is that Idra has good results and plays at a high level, while this guy is just another ladder hero. Idra didn't get the fan base and leeway he has by just being BM, he got it by being the best foreigner in BW and in beta and early SC2, and still being arguably the best or at least one of the best foreigners. Being BM before having results doesn't really accomplish much, unless you just wanna be a streamer ladder hero like destiny.
But, I'm not surprised xsix would pick him up. And no disrespect to the team, but they have made it very clear that they care more about having "characters" on their team than actual players.
