1- 1080p is usually several seconds ahead of lower resolutions (probably because it's the unfiltered stream). 2- The stream is actually pretty bandwidth hungry. The compression also seems to be subpar, as is usually the case with Twitch TV. Alternatively, a pause button for the smaller streams would work wonders. Removing them and having to re-add them manually gets tiresome. Of course, this is all due to ISPs (Videotron in this case) being retarded in Canada..

Almost all sport events here are financed with ads and people that go into the stadium etc - and are watchable in free tv. There ARE some pay tv stations, BUT those dont show only 1 event, but have like 30 new channels, multiple sports, films, extras etc... I cant image PPV for a single event to be successull in any sports in the world. Sooo... this will never work. But if MLG wants to ruin themselves, Im okay with it. Btw, Asus ROG really had great games! And I love Asus now even more and will for sure buy again my next hardware from them. :-) That is how advertising and hosting/financing big events works!

I agree, I think price is too high for what they are offering, GSL costed 10 or 20$? and They had arguably best casters, unarguably best production, and best players... its just 20$ for 4 days feels too much, with what we have now, free tournaments, and very cheap tickets 20$/4 days seems very high price. And Yea Assembly was awesome ![]()

No way people from europe will be able to watch everything live, which is no problem assuming they have a working vod system.

As long as MLG keeps bringing the best players in the entire world together for one super tournament I will have no issue's with buying their product. yeah it may well be worth 15-20 dollars if you compare it to hours of entertainment versus another ppv or a dvd, or even a video game. but i've actually never bought ppv in my life, and i very rarely buy dvd's and video games. i'm not really saying "MLG ur dumb", i'm just saying that well.... i'm not gonna pay, so i'm not gonna watch and a LOT of people are in the same boat. that's the entirity of my feedback to the idea of ppv. except that i found that i could watch last night, even without a ticket, on the official stream.... nice botch up there.... but i'm just too tired to watch today.

No way people from europe will be able to watch everything live, which is no problem assuming they have a working vod system. Biggest problem in Europe (at least for me) is that infamous Twitch Europe lag some people are experiencing. Personally I had huge lag spikes yesterday making lot of matches completely unwatchable. It was fine today until now... Seems like lag is coming back, didn't really catch what happened in Ret vs DRG. I really regret supporting this, games are great but I would expect things would be running a lot smoother for 20/15$. Yesterday VODs weren't up even few hours after matches were played, and when that finally got sorted out lot of the actual games were cut off near the end or totally missing.

I'm on Chrome and it's been letting me watch without having to log in or anything, though I paid... either MLG is really clever and somehow knows I bought my pass, or they're really stupid.
