I did see the topic QXC departs FXO? but I am making this thread so that everyone can see without going into the thread that qxc has gone from FXO to Complexity.

ESFI World has confirmed that Kevin "qxc" Riley, the North American Terran StarCraft 2 player, has been transferred from FXOpen E-Sports to Complexity Gaming. FXO's general manager Joshua "BoSs" Dentrinos verified the news.

"Our Korean team's success is based on a model I believe in," Dentrinos said. "It is very difficult for foreigners to comply with that model because of cultural, personal and mental differences. At the same time he was attending school, etc., and the investment was a bit daunting. Complexity wished to have him, and the transfer was best for QXC so we had no choice but to do what is best for him."

Riley was announced as one of five new players added to FXO's international StarCraft 2 squad back in March of this year. During his time with the Australian-based organization, qxc trained and competed in South Korea in the GSL Team League (highlighted by his infamous all-kill against Incredible Miracle), as well as making a run at the GSL Code A qualifiers in the July edition. Prior to his joining FXO, Riley was teamed with ROOT Gaming. Now going to Complexity, he will be rejoining past teammates CatZ and Drewbie.

source: http://esfiworld.com/sc2/news/fxo-transfers-qxc-complexity

Seeing as qxc will be joining many of his former ROOT teammates, I think this will be a very good fit for him and I hope he does very well at any tournament he is able to attend.

EDIT:

Complexities report:
Today compLexity Gaming is thrilled to announce that we have added another star player to the compLexity Starcraft II roster.

After completing a player transfer from FXO, we are pleased to announce that Kevin "QXC" Riley will be rejoining his former ROOT teammates.

I am excited to bring Kevin to our team. QXC is a name that everyone knows and with his reinvigorated dedication to the game, I am confident that he will continue to be a top talent in the game.
-Jason Bass, COO of Complexity Gaming

Unfortunately we came to a situation where QXC required a different type of condition to other players. And without wanting to hold him back he has managed to find something to suit his requirements and we are thankful that he was able to. FXO supports Kevin in all his endevours and will continue to cheer for him as a player and friend. We thank him for everything he has brought to FXOpen e-Sports.

-FXOBoSs

I am extremely grateful for the support and opportunities FXOpen has provided me. I will never forget how lucky I was to go to Korea and compete in the GSTL. I had a lot of fun with my teammates and boss. Unfortunately, due to a difference in vision and focus, the time has come for us to part ways. I'm extremely excited and proud to be a part compLexity where I will be rejoining some of my old teammates from ROOT Gaming as well as other players that I have become good friends with over the past few months.
-The man himself, QXC

Good luck to QXC, although I don't see why you'd give up being on a team that has a dedicated training house in Korea......

Not too surprising IMO, FXO seems to be getting more Korean-team centric week by week.

well he's still in college, so that wouldn't help much, he probably isn't fulfilling enough things to stay on FXO compared to the Koreans, or may be he's just busy with college and needs a lighter load etc.

Well, I think it has a lot to do with the fact that he is still in school, so he cannot live at the house in Korea.

Ah, so it sounds like FXO gained some compensation for the transfer.

Yeah, they were always very focused on getting a team house and I guess it didn't work out for the foreigners. Along comes fOu and you've got yourself a team which kinda fits your model. Just gotta find a way to make them Koreans more relatable with the foreign fans.

From what I have seen he generally does awesome things during the summer, then going into hiding aka school during the school year, so hopefully we will get to some good stuff from him this summer as well (another all kill would be badass, but that will be hard seeing as complexity isn't in the GSTL

I was kinda of disappointed at first actually. Maybe because I really love FXO. But then, I realized I was being stupid. qxc introduced me to pro starcraft. qxc made me love a team (RIP root tt). qxc made be be his fan, and thus, I will always be 100% qxc fan.

I don't know about Complexity's plans, a lot of pick-ups, but their roster doesn't portray as many results as hoped.

That would at least stop the confusion. Everytime I see "qxg"I read "qxc"... T_T

complexity is probably a good choice, since after this studies are done he can still go to the MVP house in Korea.
