Haha, this is awesome. I know pickpocketing is a huge problem in Paris (assuming they're in Paris?) from both personal experience and what friends/family have told me.

I don't know, everything just sound a little bit over the top to me. Well I don't know MC so I do not know if he exagerates stories or not (he is so much in the hero role in this story). On the other hand everything could also be true of course.
