At one point pick pocketing was rampant in Amsterdam's public transport. Because they'd cut your pockets open on the tram/bus etc some people had empty wallets with just a "fuck you" note in em. Even if you kept your wallet in a different place, buying new jeans is pretty expensive too. | ||
