On Constable's guide to Banshee build it says he used 120g inkjet print paper. He recommends thicker cardboards for smaller parts.

He is making Zeratul at the moment

Thank you very much for the info. 120 grams corresponds to 32 lb if anyone is wondering.

I started preparations to create... THOR (collector's edition).

I have no idea when will I actually start the crafting it but you can be sure that I'll let you know. I don't even have idea if I will start it at all to be honest. I'm at the stage of adjusting the model and the texture and obtaining Pepakura Designer. :<

Wow john's english is quite fluent, did he learn english overseas or something? How could his parents give him crap for wasting time and playing games when he has a valuable skill in Korea.

So basicly you need 200g paper, that's what the 200 gsm stands for? I guess that regular 80g paper wont cut it (so to speak :D)?

yea, "gsm" is just an unofficial unit alias for "g/m²"

JunkkaGom this is a much better hobby than Yu-Gi-Oh, I'm very happy you've decided to switch.

!? 120 grams is 0.26 pounds and 120 kg is 264.6 lb, so I'm not sure how you got that conversion.

I feel like I'm missing something and you're using "corresponds to" in another way..

i would suggest you stay between 70-110 lb paper. lighter the paper the easier to cut/fold.

This is amazing. I have attempted the banshee, somehow finished the tail rotor without failing miserably. One mis-snip/mis-glue = ohshit. Am I supposed to just make whichever parts in whichever order I want and just put it together?

It's not a straight conversion, but an equivalency for standard paper sizes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_density
