I've been casting on the European servers quite a lot in the last months. Still back in the early days of the release I became a fan of Nerchio. Not only because he was a good player or that he played random (he even was #1 on the EU Ladder as random), I liked (and still do) his personality. Its entertaining, he is one of the few players leaving comments while playing, if he fucked something up big time or his opponents did etc.
Then he switched from random to Zerg, even though at the beginning he only played Zerg vs Terran and Protoss, because he didn't like ZvZ, (and racepicking Terran vs Terran on Steppes of War hehe) he eventually decided to play Zerg vs all other races.
So becomming a Zerg player at heart, in his typical way, he started to "talk" about the whole situation and other races via the real ID Broadcast or ingame etc. So a couple of weeks ago everytime I saw something like that I started to take a screenshot. These are just the ones I captured in the last 5 weeks.
Another funy thing is that, everytime I was talking to him saying something like: Me "How is my favorite polish player doing today" Nerchio "Dunno, Tarson is currently in Kiev :p"
Then 2 days later - I learned from my mistakes, at least i thought so ...
Me"How is my favorite polish player - who is NOT Tarson doing today?" Nerchio "Dunno, Mana is currently in Israel"
So the story continued a couple of days later ...
Me"How is my favorite polish player - who is NOT Tarson or Mana doing today?" Nerchio "You are a DieStar fan heh ?"
"Ok", I thought time to play it absolutly safe next time ...
Me"How are you - Artur Nerchio - doing today =) ? " Nerchio "Protoss Imba -.-"
So the story began:

I think he has a really cool name, but the few games I've watched of his were rage quits. I understand that the game is frustrating sometimes, but in a casted game, you should just suck up your pride and GG.
As you propably dont know Nerchio is hated in polish community for cheating in several tournaments, using multiple accounts on forums (to defend himself) and suspected of watching/listening to streams while pleying tournament.

sorry to say but he whines all the time, he used to play random too so why he picked zerg i don't know like lalush, he's a decent zerg but god, so annoying
Probably one of the best random players in the world, along with TLO and Gumiho.
Now that he's Zerg, he's still great, but doesn't stand out as much anymore, imo. I'm just waiting for him to enter more "big" tournaments and offline events, he's popping up often on the smaller cups throughout the week.

There's nothing funny with a skilled player behaving like this, it's just sad and not very professional and shouldn't be encouraged IMO. If nericho wasn't so caught up in claiming close to anything is imbalanced he might actually be able to break out for real and show that he's a zerg to be reckoned with.

So this is for real? You are his fan? I understand that people have different tastes, but not that wicked. This is nowhere near funny, if anything, this is sad - I just think that showing some basic sportsmanship/manners is a must, for a player who is being watched (and occasionally inspired) by thousands of people.

I love Nerchio. He was gosu Random and is gosu Zerg.
If you guys couldn't notice how close all of the times were and that Nerchio knew that this would be posted, that it was all for a joke and for some fun.. Why is the community so serious about everything..

You're taking this way too seriously. What do you care about how somebody else feels about the game? Apparently you care enough to make a post about it in a thread that is supposed to produce some laughs, not create arguments and disdain for a player.
My respect for Nerchio just went up, at least he's clear about his own opinions, unlike most pros who are afraid to voice theirs for fear of appearing "unprofessional"

i hate him so much, why? i saw a game of him against thorzain in a tl open (the one thorzain won) and in the end he was raging like a madman and he even said " i hope you lose in the next round". that is the worst thing that any player can say to his opponent. i have no respect for him at all.
As much as we all hate whining, if anyone is qualified to talk about balance, I believe it should be a guy who is (or was) one of the highest rated Random players of all time.
So while it's cool to claim he is a Zerg player who just jumps on the "imba" train, keep in mind he played both P and T EXTENSIVELY, and is therefore more qualified than a vast majority of the pro players to comment on balance.
Also, random posts bitching about his whining and calling him another Zerg crier are just as pathetic.
Wow awesome thread that compilation was great. Personally i think it's ok to have thoughts about imbalance and rage to urself and friends.. but to do it in chat before u quit a game in a tournament match is kind of meh...

I wonder why he does not get more popularity. One rarely hears about him but he is often placed incredibly high on ladder. Does he just do much worse in tournaments?

Same reason MVP thinks T is UP or anyone else thinks their race is UP, because they're biased... Nestea won the last GSL season, there have been 6 seasons (not counting WC), 3 won by zerg. 1 won by terran. 2 by toss.
