PainUser, Select, Incontrol
Then a couple guys that make you worried as to why anyone would be involving them with anything remotely important.

Isn't this just something related to HD's tournament? IGN is sponsoring that.

Yes, she's very hot, but I doubt she was there for any test on good looking girls and their effect on gaming. Most likely they were there to discuss the NASL and some other details, as this tournament is a pretty big deal for the gaming community as a whole.
I don't actually recognize Chobot in any of these pictures. I must say that some sort of announcement like this in cooperation with IGN certainly seems uncharacteristic, but good nonetheless. I think their willingness to expose the growing Starcraft II professional scene to IGN's more mainstream audience will certainly generate some buzz in varying demographics.

I kinda hope there ISN'T another starleague happening. Holy cow is that a lot to follow!

The girl in the chair interviewing two of them seems to be her, especially since she seems to be the main interviewer for IGN.

I thought IGN did game reviews or something and I kind of had enough of announcing announcements after the whole nasl thing and I'm pretty much all out of air so I won't be holding my breath for this. Sorry for negative feedback, I try to only be positive but announcements for announcements shouldn't even be called announcements or be made in general just to squeeze a little bit of extra hype out of it. It just makes you seem kind of desperate and it is annoying . Besides if you really want to get "pre-information" out there just "leak" it to a news site and it'll find it's way to the tl forums and people will actually think it's cool and mysterious instead of thinking of IGN as greedy and lazy.

YES announcements to announcements people are getting how to do this hype thing lol

Hummm... HD was mentioning some sort of tournament in his recent cast with IGN sponsoring or something like that. Might be that ?

My prediction: incontrol and other manly men of sorts were invited to see if the effects of having cute girls present more often in tournaments would increase viewership. This being said, it was successful and true. The NASL will be host so several bikini models helping the players into thier booths during the finals and announcing their names and what not during the regular season.
or it could just be another tournament or sponsorship or something, but id like to hope for the first one. It may increase viewership, but cute girls around Starcraft 2 pro-gamers from my experience usually generate awkwardness. Anyone remember IEM when MorroW and IdrA came out onto the stage with Razer girls? To me it just looked weird and awkward haha. + Show Spoiler +
Oh but come on. it may be awkard, but look how happy he is. You know on the inside every gamer wants to be him in that moment. =)

An announcement of an announcement, incontrol needs to be involved!

Is this referencing the HDH Invitational 2 or something? That would be quite interesting if IGN brought that sort of mainstream exposure to the games.
