HuK - No doubt in this whatsoever. He is improving a lot and still has kinks in his play. Ceiling for this guy is very high. Haypro - Solid player. Soon as he nails down timings and gets his confidence up, he will be graping people if he hasn't been already. BratOK - One of the most underrated foreign T's still. MoonGlade - Top player from Australia and deserves a path to compete directly against the Korean competition.

I think Huk and Sen are the obvious.. Then I'd pick Haypro and Sjow or SeleCT

Unfortunately, I doubt BratOK could get a visa in time for this. However, if he can get a spot for the end of feburary (and was told about it now-ish) then it becomes much more plausible.

Huk - No brainer, MLG Champ, tearing it up on the Korea ladder, already in Korea. Just makes so much sense. Haypro - Unsung hero. Haypro hasn't been getting the attention he deserve because he narrowly missed out on GSL twice. He's off to the Takesen tournament and I'm sure his results there will make a compelling argument for his inclusion. Moonglade - Tore it up on the Korea ladder when he was practising there. Only reason he didn't end up going was because of a lack of sponsor iirc. Now he's got a solid team, solid skillset and would tear up the the competition (he has excellent results on the ladder against other GSL players) Brat_OK - His unique terran style and formidable skill set has been missing from the scene because he regularly runs into visa issues, but he is one of the most worthy invites in europe.

SEN- I'm putting Sen first because I think he is the most deserving, and he doesn't get enough love in this thread. He made the ro32 in his first ever GSL appearance, then lost a close series to the defending champion and best ZvZ player in the world. Sen is the kind of player who could make Code S, I think he really deserves a chance
HuK - as everyone has already mentioned, Huk had consistent results in American tournaments throughout 2010. He is currently ranked inside the top 10 on the Korean ladder (as of the Blizzard top 200 for the first week of January), and he's already in Korea which makes things more convenient MoonGlade - The best player from the SEA server, I think he deserves a chance to step up and show his skills on an international stage. SEA players tend to get overlooked a lot, but Glade has been putting up good results, and he is/was ranked pretty high on the Korean server SEN - Seriously!!!
Honorable mentions: Dimaga, Fenix

Huk and Sen definetly. After them Sjow(maybe then he will start working on his scouting and other problems) and BratOK.
|
LiquidHaypr0 LiquidHuK
both are already in Korea, so these 2 NEEDS to be invited, seems silly when they live there and not be invited
last 2 spots depends alot on who is planning to go to Korea
mTwDIMAGA DuckloadRa ROOTqxc MouzMaNa FnaticFenix EGMachine FnaticSEn RoxiBRAT_OK DignitasSjow
ect ect, there are so many people, but really could we get a list on pro players who WOULD go to Korea if they got a invite?
also stop voting for fucking LiquidTyler, he already sad several times he isn't interested in going to Korea(atm atleast) if he wants to TLAF will make sure he goes there no problem
|
Has TLO given word on whether he'd go back to Korea for another GSL?
Also, does anybody know anything about Nerchio?
|
Tyler, Sen, Haypro, HuK
Edit: Now that I see the post about Tyler, Incontrol over Tyler.
|
BratOK - Probably the best Terran player HuK - (if his PvZ doesn't suck anymore) LiquidTyler (If he will go to korea)
Only 3 that really come to mind right now.
|
Huk- need i say more? Qxc- he's sick good. Select. InControl
|
Although I can't speak for players and their personal situation/ability to make a move to Korea, realistically I'd vote for
HuK KiWiKaKi CatZ Sen
But yeah, get a qualifier going for something like this, instead of a popularity contest

Early scouting is for people who are worried their earlygame is not solid enough. If you don't intend to change anything based on what your opponent is doing then why scout? It's nothing more than a wasted scv
Allready wrote my two on top but might aswell say them again Sjow! BratOK!

At first I thought "Yeah, the World Health Organization is awesome, but I didn't know they played Starcraft there" and then I understood. There are so many players that I'd like to get given a shot at showing up in GSL, really hard to decide on only a few. I'll also only list European players, as most from the the Americas have been mentioned so many times already
Brat_OK: He's a contender for the best European Terran player consistently showing very strong performance in online tourneys. His drop play is second to none, really. Very unlucky in getting visas for the major European tourneys, he really deserves participation in an event like GSL.
naNiwa: Oh naNi, why so much rage? When he is casting, which he sometimes does, he seems like such a nice guy. Really needs to attend an anger management course. Nonetheless one of the best 3 Toss in Europe together with WhiteRa and Socke (who I both would have listed, but as far as I known neither are interested in going to Korea). Master of one base play, so he would fit the general GSL fotm really well
GoOdy: He would really bring something new, as he is the only consistently successful Terran player I know that literally goes mech everytime, in every matchup. Horribly sloppy macro but best tank positioning, game sense and harass. If you want to see a different style of Terran play, he's the man.
DIMAGA: I don't think any other non-korean Zerg comes close, really. He's also such a likeable and well mannered guy with consistently great results. I'd like to see Dimaga in a GSL.
DeMuslim: I think he's the best Terran in Europe and the most insightful player with a really really deep understanding of the game. His micro skills are second to none. I think he would be really happy to attend as well
EffkA: Unless it's Tarson or someone else smurfing on her account, best female SC2 player worldwide at the moment? Gogogo, GSL
