I'll buy a ticket every season if not just to support esports. I was very satisfied with the improvement in quality of the vods when season 2 came around. People voiced their opinions about the things that sucked in the production quality of season 1, and gom changed in it all in season 2. Hopefully season 3 will be even better.

I would buy tickets, even priced higher, the moment I know for sure that the Streams to Europe are ok. Which they still aren't. Which is very sad.

Will be buying my third ticket : ).

I hate paying for stuff, especially things like this on the internet, but I just find it so enjoyable that I can't refuse $15 for the happiness it me brings every month : ). I believe this is the only thing I've ever paid for online that wasn't an actual product (Amazon, ebay, etc.).

I can't stay up late since I have morning classes, so the VODS are what are really important to me. But if you plan on using it only for the HQ live stream, then I'd be a little more hesitant to suggest buying it since it seems less valuable then.

I will definitely be picking this up again. The increase in quality from season 1 into season 2 was fantastic.

15$ is cheaper then going to a movie here, so I would gladly pay it.

Can you share a GomTV account with someone? I see the matches live at work (on a restream, damn firewall !) but I would be interested to pay 7.5€ for the VODS. This season I will pay the full 15€ probably, just to support E-sports and because I watched the previous 2 seasons for free.

Or share an account with somebody in the USA, he can watch live HD(+vods) and I can watch the VODs.

I know 15€ is not that much but for me it is almost a donation, because I don't really need the VODs.

I watch GSL just for Tasteless and Artosis. The great games are just a bonus. Signed up for all 3 Season tickets, no regrets. Had some slight issues with the BoxeR vs NaDa game, and the S2 finals - had to watch those in SQ 'cos the HQ was a little bit jittery. Aside from that, I'm 100% satisfied and have every intention of subscribing to each and every event they host.

I noticed when purchasing the Season 3 ticket, there's now a warning prompt mentioning that the live quality can't be guaranteed if you're not in their server region. I hope that clarity helps alot of the Europeans who have experienced issues in the previous seasons.

Well worth it. You can either spend 40 hours watching it, thinking it, talking to your friends about it, and re-watch it.

Or you can buy a dinner which you will feel hungry again in 8 hours, and totally forget about it.

Anyone who feel otherwise are either not into e-sport that much or has a crappy net.

I know VOD means video on demand but does their vods contain all the material that livestream has? Like the casts, talks, introduces, interviews etc. I'm considering buying ticket if I cant find the matches elsewhere.

I like reading people's reasons for buying and not buying the ticket. But the worst reason for buying is because "it's a steal" - that's actually what not buying entails.

Furthermore I've watched probably thousands of top-level starcraft games completely for free. And, that wasn't considered stealing, even though it's exactly the same thing that the gsl offers. So I don't consider $15 for ~50 matches a good deal what so ever.

bought it in s1 and s2.

but in the middle of s2 there was this bug when suddenly i can't play the vods anymore.

The message was something like " unable to stream. something about my firewall blocking"
although i had the same exact settings all along and just the previous day i could run it no problem.

Tried installing-reinstalling, relogging in, etc and still doesn't work. So i can't play the hq live stream anymore so won't be buying it.

The stream was good in quality though for me so i'd recommend anyone who doesn't get bugged by the technical problem to get it.

Bought it every season so far. I don't really follow the competetive scene in SC2 any more, all I watch is GSL VOD's whenever I feel like it. And I will gladly contribute 15$ every season towards tasteless' and artosis' paychecks.

I never watch live, only VOD's. If you start up a couple of vids on HQ and let it load for a while you have no stuttering, not really much of a hassle

If you buy the ticket with a different name than the one that's on your account, does it still upgrade the account you pressed "Buy a ticket" with, or does it sync with the name on the creditcard+account, if anyone tried this before <:{
